nope it's large grains and it's dried on needs a proper hosing/foaming/two bucket but it's very sunny and blowing a gale so no go today or possibly the rest of the week if you believe the forcast

Yep as title...woke up this am to find the car looks like it's a swiss cheese..absolutely covered in the nasty stuff and it's damn sunny too so no washy today as paints too hot...

Thanks for the nice comments and likes plus the funnies , I already use a lambs wool mitt for washing the car with a dip bucket for rinsing it out between panels but as my car was so badly looked after before I got her it was a losing battle right now she is nearing the end of an epic detailing / correction by Ed at Devine Detailing , he will post a complete thread ( with my permission ) of what a mare it's been when it's finished. I also use a Karcher with foam lance etc etc etc, I have used wheel wax etc as well so it's not as if we haven't tried but as I say she was so un loved by the previous owner but that I now being put right.

Update, Ed pm'd me last night with some early before and after shots and my warranty re sprayed bits have the dreaded orange peel and the paint densities are all over the place ( damn ) now waiting on Ed's best solution , I'm sure more pics will follow shortly Doug

Right dropped the car off with Ed this morning ( nice to meet you mate ), now the wait begins.....

6 Days.... the main reason is we live by the sea so the car is being Opti Coated after Detail and it takes up to 4 days to cure properly

Dropping off the Z for a full detail tomorrow ( Sunday ) at Divine Detail , picking her up on the following Saturday so a week without my beloved....sob..... Really looking forward to getting her back though as this has been on the to do list since day one
