  9. I would like to add that Jez ever the professional didn't shoot my stupid half baked panic reaction down in flames he just calmly answered the question and told me to check the oil level.... What a duffus I am for not thinking of that first, the result of course is the level is perfect , panic over , now to go lie down in a darkened room
  10. phew...oil level spot on so not from me...isn't it just murphy's law that you just have an oil change and then you park and pull away to see a puddle of oil...?
  11. to be fair I did sort of half expect the exhaust thing as it was pretty rusty and as far as I know it's the original, just parked up at Sainsbury's and as we pulled away there's a dirty great puddle of oil on the floor, so hoping this is not me and was already there
  12. 22. As per the title since my exhaust fix and an ecu reset as the battery was disconnected for over an hour on warm start the car starts fine but then if left the revs die , is this just part of the ecu relearning procedure ? , if I give the car a small bit of throttle it's all back to normal. OK ..back from BMC and what can I say they loved the car ( always a good sign ), turned out the system had to come off as the crack went all the way round apart from a nails width holding it together with the surface rust, all welded together and back on for £54.00 took a bit longer than an hour, the car is transformed

I would like to amend my first post after having spoken to Scott via email it would appear I misheard and the price quoted was in fact £200.00 not £300.00. I a still going with the local company for £45.00 plus vat and will keep you updated. Thank You
