  1. I'm using Yellow Stuff..... lots of bite and handle trackday temps but have only lasted about 6k miles.... One dry and one wet trackday only.
  2. I hope they resolve your issues. Maybe they will change but it's only by people speaking out on this 'malicious forum' (yes they call it that) that J17 can see what damage they are doing to their already questionable reputation.
  3. Sorry dude you have had a crap experience with J17. Feel free to join the anti-J17 club, there are plenty of us! Your experience is pretty standard unfortunately....
  4. Yeah I got that letter too. I was tempted to wipe my arse with it and send it back!
  5. Nothing can be as bad as Junction 17..... But me personally I hate any kind of pushy sales people. All I want is for them to answer my questions and prepare the car to a high standard. If its the right car I wont need it selling to me and I dont want someone to sell me the wrong car.
  6. Yes my HR has the same. Ive got used to it.
  7. Sorry dude. Welcome to the world of c*nts. I think there are more then nice people these days. I never leave my Z anywhere especially car parks and parking along the road. I hope the dent man can help you out....
  8. Sorry dude. C*nts do this all the time. I always wait when I don't have right of way. This is another example why I don't go out of my way to be polite to anyone on the roads (except other Z's). No courtesy anymore. No lane discipline either, every lane is a free for all in my opinion now.
  9. Yeah good thanks. Looks like you will be having a bit more fun this time! Enjoy the trackday!
  10. Sorry dude I have no idea why you would want to stick a tax disk in your window when you don't have to. Each to their own I suppose, after all we are a strange bunch of people!
  11. Yeah I'm running Eagle F1's, very impressed. They work great on the road and both wet and dry trackdays. I met you at Castle Combe last year. Enjoy your next trackday.
  12. I would spend that £1000 on your own car or just put it saved away for when problems need fixing.
  13. Perhaps point them in the direction of the numerous trader appreciation threads on this very "malicious" forum. I don't think there's one for J17 though. The malicious forum bit made me laugh! There are always great reviews on here on recommended traders. Good reviews are a great way of doing business. They also say only one person actually bought a car from them, lies!
  14. Right I decided to email Junction 17 a link to this forum. Not sure if that was the right thing to do or not so sorry if that offends anyone. Here's a copy of the emails.... From J17: Hi David, Many thanks for pointing this out. We are already aware of this malicious forum. It's funny isn't it people will go out of their way when they've had a not so great service from somewhere to write a bad review when they don't get their own way but we've checked the website and there is only 1 person on there that has ACTUALLY bought a car from us. IF we're looking at that we're looking at only 1 bad review in a year as he bought that in June last year - in this last year we have sold over 200 Nissan 350Zs so one going wrong isn't too bad is it? We have a complaints procedure too - and deal with everything properly. So if a problem is reported we en-devour to solve them. With selling thousands of cars unfortunately you are going to encounter some minor issues - cars are machines and we stock used cars not brand new ones. Having said that new cars go wrong too. We prepare our cars to a very high standard both mechanically and cosmetically and as stated before if a discrepancy arises we always go out of our way to resolve them. But thank you for taking time out of your day to make us aware of this forum. If you would like to pop down so we can show you real written reviews from real people who have bought 350Zs you're more than welcome. Many thanks Customer Care Team - Junction 17 cars My response: Hello 'Customer Care Team' Regardless of what you say above and what is true or not you have a bad reputation. I could send you many more links on other clubs etc. I experienced this first hand and you failed to resolve my issues. I'm not after anything from J17 or going into any detail on my experience. You can either act on this or choose to ignore these reviews, either way I don't care as I wouldn't buy a car from you again. PS its nice you actually emailed me back this time.... David J17's reply: Hi David, I can only apologise that any issues you had were not resolved but I'm sure that something was offered to try and help any issues you were having. You do not need to send any more review links to us - we are aware of people just wanting to bad mouth us. As i said before in this world you'll find people go out of their way to write bad but not the good. It is nice to see the good and as I said before we do not have many complaints at all. If there is anything we can do for you in the future we will try our utmost best. Many thanks
  15. Hi David, I bought my 350Z from Junction 17 Peterborough May 2014. Your story is pretty much the same as what I experienced. There were minor things that they agreed in writing to fix but like you never happened. Dent removal, bumper respray, generally bodging a few cosmetic bits for the sale. Like you I had to travel quite far to them and was initially attracted to their large choice in 350Z's. After sales communication was non-existent and when I did speak to someone they were very rude and clearly tried palming me off in any way possible. I would never buy a car from them again and urge anyone that does to be extremely cautious. They hide behind the nice showroom full of supercars but don't me fooled! Like you my car came with a new MOT so I'm actually pretty concerned when the next one comes around. We really need to name and shame these dealers because its disgusting how they can run a business like this.
  16. I'm considering the 10/20 option. Any recommended traders on here?
  17. Good luck. I will be in the same situation in 1000miles. Also considering the waterlooville Nissan for a P1.
  18. Fyi you don't need to warm the car up, ....just start the engine, seat belt on & off you go driving sympathetically until the engine's properly up to temperature (not just water temp but oil temp too more importantly). E.g: Don't over rev the car (try to stick below 2.5-3rpm) for the first 10 miles/10-15 mins of driving. Op that MPG is very wrong. Sorry I didnt meant warm the car up stationary. Just running the car slowly from cold takes longer to warm up then the summer months.
  19. Junction 17 are a bunch of tossers, dont buy a car from them and dont trade yours in!
  20. I get more then that on a trackday! I always reset my trip when I fill up and reset the MPG. Usually I get 22-28mpg and 320-400miles. Winter uses more fuel with the longer warm up time.
  21. Cheers guys. Do the black foam bits in the boot come out easily?
