wont be replacing it with nothing. No need. Just keep a light coating of silicon spray on the rubbers under the window over the winter months.

two man job seriously. Heat the wrap up then two of you hold it at both end and stretch it over the shell. Then heat up again once on and smoothed over so that the wrap keeps its memory. Then inch by inch to the return around the glass under heat. Start at the top middle of the glass and work towards the corner. Repeat all four sides.

just bumped this thread and can tell you that I have taken mine off with a hair dryer and it still pulled off all the paint. The paint is very thin on these cars. Just as well I was painting the car. So yes...it will pull the paint off.

Does any one know how to pop the mirror glass out without breaking the glass.???? Need to strip the shell for putting in some indicators into the shell body. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

ok guys, so time to fess up what you do actually use, if anything. Me, Ive got the straight bar steering lock that hits the windscreen as you try and turn. Obviously not very good, but isnt it about trying to get the thief to move on and try another car thats without one?> (hassle factor) ?

youll need clear resin and catalyst, clear gel coat, mixer bottles, a gattling roller and some brushes, reliesing wax, some wedges made up from timber and a 3" grinder with a steel cutting blade for trimming and possibly the need to fix the moulds with tooling gel if they are chipped or scratched. And alot of patience polishing the moulds prior to making parts The process is dead easy though. If anyone needs advice, PM me.

Yes it has and looks crap because of that very same issue as you say. Im in the process of painting my car so this will be taken off and not replaced. If you decide to take it off you will most deffinately take the paint off with it. The paint is so damn thin on these cars its laughable. Try heating it up with a hair dryer to soften the adhessive and start peeling it very very snow and see how it goes. But remember once you start you have to finish because I doubt it will lay back down the same. Hope this helps.

How do you switch on the tablet and also what obd dongle are you using with torque pro because most of us are struggling with getting these to talk to the cars engine management.
