Cleaned up the pâtés with some emery cloth. Next time fitting of an OEM spoiler off a completely different car which you'll have to wait for and front carbon splitters from an f430. Zebb

you can use badge tape. Ebay it. cheap as chips. Its very strong adhessive neoprene tape. Check out Car builders solutions too on the web. Some nice and handy bits there too. Suppliers to the kit car industry.

yep Jack Smith is just around the corner from me. Had a quote last week for a new hood, again rebonding existing widow...under 300 quid fitted. He does seats too and is renound for trimming car interiors. The MX5 community rave about his work. Top guys there Lads. And the roads in South Wales.......well were spoilt. lol

would you happen to have the link Al?? Sorry Im a complete noob when it comes to all the stuff. There is also a Nissan Service Bulleting that Im really struggling to find regarding the cable adjustments on the 5th Motor.

Im sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a guide on how to adjust the cable on the fith bow motor and can it be done if the roof CANNOT be opened electrically. Also if there is another guide too as how to pull down the roof manually from the closed position or even close it in the open position. Ive had a quick look through the forum and cannot find these two guids albeit Im sure its been covered her before thanks in advance

I've bumped this only to ask how does the Orem one come off. I'm about to change mine but don't fancy bogging it with grips and mole grips if there's an easy way of popping em off. Thanks

Ok had the roadster a few days now which I bought knowing it had a tempremental roof. Sometimes going up sometimes not, sometimes closing sometimes not. Anyway over the last two days the roof wont go down at all. I start the car, foot on brake and open the lever. Then press the button. I hear a pop and the rear part of the hood disengages but that it. Prior to this the windows do drop down and the seat runs forward. then pop, engarge then nothing. Any idea guys??? I know the sprockets on the motors are well greases as I checked these during the purchase. Are there any experts in South Wales that you could reccoment other that Nissan dealerships. Im starting to get a pi**ed off with the car but as I know its common problem Im willing to forgive her and stick this one out and hopefull be an easy fix. cheers in advance Nige

Bump'd this for an update. Any news or outcome. Im asking as mine is starting to be tempramental too and Ive just bought mine.Been reading on another U.S forume something about the 5th motor is notorious in failing and could be that??

lol stevo nive one. Might get a chrome chained steering wheel while Im at it lol. ok so been looking and the first thing they ask is it a GT model with brembo brakes. the answer in no its not a GT but has brembo brakes. Can I asume all UK cars were fitted with these?? and are the brembos bigger on the GT versions or did they keep the same size on all UK cars???

no reason other than My GTO had 20s and these Have got similar size arches. The z maybe a tad smaller. Just been reading up on the wheel pic sections and seems most are runing 19s which at a guess is the way to go now. I dont know either way at this point as these cars are new to me and its all a learing curve at the mo. albeit a very @*!# hot one !!! Loving it so far. Car is 2 days old. :-)

Well this is it. Ive not bought them yet and was hoping for recomendations on SIZE and offsets and also offsets if I were to use 10mm spacers without any fouling. The last thing I want to do is to roll out the arches because ive gone for non standard offet to get that wheel out as far as I dare. Any advice here would be great as Im about to purchase as soon someone can steer me in the right direction. thanks

Hi, can someone tell me whether there are any issues putting 20's on my 350z roadster, ie steering lock fouling or arch rubbing. May also think about 10MM spacer too so if anyone can let me know. and also whats the max width I can go for without rolling out the arches cheers

Hi Guys and gilrs. Just want to say that Ill be picking up my UK 2005 350z Roadster on Saturday and cannot wait. Its a non GT model with 50k on the clock with full service history in Metalic dark Grey (sorry dont know the correct colour term). Ill be taking the Buyers Guide with me from this forum and must say that the amount of imput and valued experience regards to these cars on here is simply awsome. The last similar car I had to this was a MITSU 3000 gto TT and so cannot wait for the thrills to start over again. Ill be modding the car quite respectfully not in a fast n furious way as Im now 45 lol so first thing will be 20" alloys or maybe 19". Can you please point me in the right direction as to what I should go for as the PCD is quite bad for good wheel options. Pics of non standard wheels on your cars would really help me out here.Has anyone used Hub PCD convertors from 114.5 to say 120 which are 20mm thick to have a better choice in wheel??? I have just one question really....Ill be travelling 200 miles home in her on mostly A ROADS. So approx how much can I expect to pay for fuel for that 200 miles driving to the speed limits ...ish lol.
