When was the power investigation? Could be something simple. Any chance of finding out the previous owner and chatting with them? It looks tidy enough other than the scuff on the front bumper and not priced too badly for a dealer. Personally I wouldn't buy it but that's only because it's silver.
I'm not sure offset changes the alignment, just how far in or out the wheel sits. Too much change however will ruin the drive and potentially cause the car to tramline all over the place.
I've never been a fan of the way the rear of the Zed is a little higher than the front. I would like to drop the back end, only by about 10mm or so to level it out. Is this possible? I don't want to go lower really on the front due to speed humps, just level. I remember back in the day stories of cutting down springs - which I can't see being a good idea but I did also hear of trimming down the rear bump stop seats which can help.
Any ideas on a good safe way of doing this without affecting handling?
Thanks
Supposedly but I've not done it on other cars and they've been fine so who knows. I'm just doing what I read on here.

Fitted my new Brembo front pads and discs yesterday and took the car out this morning. Did half a dozen 50mph to almost zero stops in quick succession before coming to a junction that happened to have an old boy sitting there on a push bike. I stopped and glanced over and saw the look of fear on his face as he stared at my wheels!
I look forward to see plumes of smoke billowing up from the wheels. I'm quite sure this must be normal considering what i'd done but if not please shout. Return journey was fine
I was in a car that was involved in an accident and had a thick black sun strip on the top of the screen. My biggest concern was the insurance not paying out as it made the car un-road worthy. Luckily they didn't even mention it and just paid out but it would still concern me
I like these! Just wonder what they'd cost though before reaching the car. £600 for the wheels, at least the same again on tyres plus £200 minimum for refurb. Suddenly they don't seem so cheap - for me anyway, but maybe I'm just tight.
Saw this knocking around on eBay recently. Put in a low bid and as the only bidder, I won it for 99p. Will chuck it on later and see how it looks. Might need one of those collars that I've seen someone on here doing. Can anyone remember who it was?
Thanks
I thought about one before getting the Zed. Bug eye is too ugly, hawk eye - too many horror stories of the 2.5 engine. However I saw a few blobs and they're 10 years old and weren't in great shape. Also I wonder if there is too many electrics at that age that could start going wrong and costing lots - put me off in the end.
Often the thick foam ones aren't the best cleaners. I used Chemical Guys honeydew for a while but woulnt recommend it. The cheapo demon shine stuff did a better job. Now using autofoam and it's the best so far. None will get your car ultra clean, they are just a pre wash, but fun to use so I continue with them.
