  1. No, which is why I got a 370. My dream car would be a something from the 60's. Mustang, E Type, Aston or even a nice Ferrari.
  2. Alfa 156 which I had from new in 1998. Just passed it on to my daughter. Would have liked the Alfa Guilia due out next year, if it had looked like the original pictures, but having seen the latest ones it looks horrible. Might have to keep the 370 longer than I originally thought.
  3. I can remember the 70's, and the last five minutes, but everything in between is just dust in the wind.
  4. I does sound good, and I am very tempted. A nice growl rather than an in your face bark. (I know what I mean )
  5. 1976 Capri 1.6. First of three I had, though the engine got bigger each time. I took my test in it (twice )
  6. Sounded a bit like a plane to me.

Still on their website, £25,000 GT Edition auto in white. Only a few hundred quid less than I paid for my new GT.

Good to hear that. When the car is due it's service I may leave it there and have a game of golf at Cooden with my mate that got me the car. He did say it was the only new one they have sold, though I think they have a second hand white GT automatic for sale at the moment. Midnight blue looks superb, but the silver door handles just don't go. They look huge. Matching blue would look good, so will see about getting them done. I have the red calipers which look 'interesting' with the blue, but alloys are not graphite. Think you only get those on the Nismo. Will try and get my daughter to post some photos for me, once I have cleaned it of course.

Thanks for all the advice. I am slightly embarrassed to ask at the Aldershot Nissan, as I got the car in St Leonards, as my mate worked there. I will check though, and in the meantime put up with the wheeze that comes out of the existing exhaust. On another matter I filled up the car today, and was surprised to see my range was 402 miles.

Thanks for that Will. Good to hear the local Nissan garage is sound. I need my daughter to put photos on here. I can just about use a camera, but that is it. I am just about the only person that doesn't own a mobile phone, and posting on here is about the limit of my technical skills. Unfortunately my daughter is 19, and is never home ! I Happy to let you have a look in the flesh, so to speak

I have recently bought a new 370 Zed, and having been on here for a little while now am obviously considering a new exhaust. Would this affect the warranty on the car ? Not much else I want to change, haven't got moditis, though I would like to get the door handles changed to match the midnight blue of the car. They just look huge, and ugly ( ) to me in silver. Not a worry now, but when I need the first service, do I have to go to a Nissan dealer, nearest one is in Aldershot. I have read good reviews of guys on here, one who specialises in GTR's and Zed's (sorry can't remember his name), and would be happy to drive a decent distance, to know I am getting the best. I am sure these questions have been asked many times, but can't find the answers.
  13. As my wife's car costs £10 a year, I just average the two, and share the bill.
  14. . It's a real pain taking the tax disc holder apart, started off with 5 micro screws, now I'm down to 3 and it has to be wedged between the window and the dash now. Pete Mine has nice rotating mechanism if you are looking to buy a second hand one. Where is the whistling smiley ?
  15. I have a midnight blue 370 Zed. I hope there are not many others around, as I like to be different.
  16. You owe me a breakfast. Seem to have just lost my earlier one.
  17. Was it new ? If so shouldn't you be running it in ?
  18. Drove past my office in Farnham, South Street at about 12.00 today. It was raining hard, but still looked very nice. Anyone on here ?
  19. I am Army, and that's a Great thing to have done! if you want any help with any future events let me know, il be happy to help Good man. Always looking for volunteers ! I play at Blackmoor, which is in Bordon, and Aldershot is just up the road. Father was in the RAF, and I was born in Germany, forces hospital in Jever. Hope it goes well for you, and you pick up a nice Zed.
  20. Is the top speed of a 370 faster ?
  21. Army/RAF ? I organise a Help For Heroes charity golf day . We raised £18,000 at our last one. Always happy to support the forces.
  22. I did got the urge to whip my flat cap off as well. Steady on tiger, it's a family forum One minute you're enjoying driving barefoot and it escalates ..., next thing is ... It's the early hours of the morning, you're parked up in the pitch black of night in a layby, naked, awaiting the familiar sight of those jaguar headlights to appear in the distance (SMD) I am shocked, and it takes a lot to shock me. You can recognise jaguar lights at night ?

  24. Managed to get my shoes locked in the clubhouse tonight, which meant either driving the 370 home in my spikes or barefooted (Well socks actually) Spikes on aluminium didn't seem very sensible, so it was socks. I have heard rumours that ladies do such things. Must admit it wasn't too bad, and I had quite a delicate touch with the accelerator for a change.
