  1. Perhaps TT350 has earnt himself some time under the spotlight
  2. Now I'm intrigued TT350....you've been quiet for ages and now come back with a possible ban comment! What did you say? Lol So, who's the new person in the hot seat?
  3. The OEM was real easy to fit and I personally think it looks much prettier than the UR one, but I guess you could paint the UR one black. However, I am sort of thinking I should have gone with the UR one now as I think it is slightly more rigid. The OEM one feels incredibly flimsy. I can't see there is massive difference in weight between the two, certainly not enough to make a difference on a car as heavy as a zed. I think I picked the OEM one as I wanted less hassle fitting it and thought like for like would be simpler. I didn't need the end brackets which was a big relief!
  4. Bet with who? Plus, I thought March 14th was set in stone anyway. It is now Myself lol Yep, know how much you enjoy a good steak We should probably let Jetpilot have the details so he can get photographic evidence of our secret affair
  5. Research ont'tinterweb suggests that the preschool educational television program Sesame Street was first aired on public broadcasting television stations November 10, 1969. By this time I was 23 and so didn't watch much TV aimed at children. When the Muppet Show was aired (1976–1981), I was living and working in Nigeria building airports and the only entertainment that was available and worth watching were films recorded in Philips Video 2000 format (pre-dating Betamax and VHS) So to answer your question, I didn't see much of either ... but I do like Animal if that's the one on the drums I'm guessing you've never seen Fraggle Rock either then!!!! Do you really believe that there are intelligent life forms elsewhere in the Universe or do you think we are all alone on this planet? And if the first, do you think we will ever find them?
  6. Stop feeding Jetpilot's suspicions lol Think it might be a while before I sell my baby, but will let you know.....insurance renewal might be a bit painful this year Damn, just lost a major bet. Thought you'd say you'd take me out March 14th for Steak lol. Next wk probably bad but diary lookin' free from March 1st Good answers
  7. Blimey....learn something new everyday! Next you'll be telling me you didn't have to wear seat belts and TV used to be broadcast in black & white lol
  8. 69.9 mph Yes, I think I've been stuck behind you! Yep, I'm also old enough to have driven legally at over 3 figures What? When was that?
  9. Question number 1: In a fight (over you, obviously lol), who would win......Gal or Keira? 2: What's your favourite colour Smartie? 3: Are you ever going to F***ing buy a Zed???? 2 yrs on the forum, let you drive mine.....still no zed FFS!!!!! 4: When are you taking me out for lunch????? 5: Who, on this forum, would you give your last Rolo to and why?
  10. Seriously Ekona, don't ask him that! We'll lose days of time while he goes through his music career and how he's been told he is the best bass player in the world (yawn)....only joking (sarcastic, flirtatious smiley insert)
  11. oh...was hoping it was the turn of cheeky chappie Linus27 by now. Have some good questions to pay him back with
  12. Awh, Flex....that one almost brought a little tear to me eye. You have such a lovely way with words
  13. If you could freeze time momentarily and then do one thing (be it good, bad or just a bit naughty) without the repercussions of getting caught.....what would you do?
  14. If you could be an animal, which one and why?
  15. So if insurance companies put up your premium because you have attended a SAC, what affect will being a apart of ROSPA and holding an Advanced Driver's licence do?????
  16. Seriously though, anyone can go on SAC. So it would be wrong for insurance companies to penalise you just because you've done the course! ilogikal1, if the insurance company don't have access to the SAC attendee database, how will they be able to use this information to invalidate your claim? I know someone who has been on the SAC and then got caught speeding again. Police ran a licence check and SAC didn't come up. The conviction went to court and still no-one spotted the SAC. So, who actually has this information and can access it??
  17. Firstly, I'm with Admiral and they have never asked if I've been on the course or if I've been caught speeding. They have only asked if I have any convictions. Secondly, I'm really not sure 'who' knows you've been on the course as 'police' checks don't seem to reveal the information either. You can't lie about it! But if people don't ask and don't seem to be able to find the information then I don't see the harm in not mentioning it. Afterall, anyone CAN attend the course. You don't have to wait until your caught speeding.
  18. Brillomaster, how did you earn the title Mr Slidey?
  19. Depends on circumstances of death. If I'm healthy, fully functioning, and in a the world is about to be blown up situation, Independence Day style...then I'd want to get to the people I love. I'd probably save the world from impending doom, have loads of awesome sex, kick ass, car chase scene feature somewhere and make everyone laugh along the way, that's the way I roll If it's serious delibatetory (might have just made that world up as autocorrect hasn't jumped in) illness then I'd want to slip away no fuss, unnoticed, no pain to those I love! Edit: Always wanted to swim with sharks also, but too chicken after lifetime of watching jaws
  20. Do you mean like Hollywood Bowl or Brazilian Spa.....which would I prefer as a day out?
  21. Had a serious chat with OH last night about the whole ARDS course (I did get him drunk first) And he's being really supportive. I think we all know it won't amount to anything serious but I know that if I don't have a go now then I'll probably look back later in life and regret it. Everyone's allowed to be a little bit crazy once in a while, plenty of time for seriousness later. I've got enough money to not need to worry about lack of income for a little while, so will be interesting to see how this all pans out. Watch this space......... Just need to convince work to pay for it now lol
  22. Bourbons, but more of a Hobnob person.
  23. Sorry.....just spotted this, someone should have prodded me Erm, do you know what....I love travelling. Have travelled through America from NY to LV, camped my way around Canada, backpacked round Thailand twice, did a bit of work in The Gambia, hot air ballooned in Kenya, not to mention visiting France, Germany, Belgium (Spa ), Portugal, Spain, Greece & Dubai, plus some other place I've forgotten. Loved them all to visit but wouldn't want to move to any of them. Really want to visit Japan, but I think it would feel claustrophobic and hectic after a while. Caribbean sounds nice but might get bored of the endless sun, sand & sea. Australia/New Zealand might be a possible though, although difficult to say as not been there yet. So, my answer is....drum roll please.....England! I like the seasons, the countryside with amazing views, vibrant cities, just wish the weather was a bit better! Took the zed for a lovely Sunday morning drive through the countryside this morning, sun shining, no traffic - couple of buckets of mud in my wheel arches removed when I got back.....but still, gotta live it here
  24. That is a good idea and not something I have considered. Also, has just made me think I could learn an instrument also. Need to justify the potential career change though and not sure what I would use it for.
