Is that the App Radio 3? How are you finding it? Do you use an Android phone with it? Considered this head unit myself, but read mixed reviews.

It's a process of elimination really pal. Put a metal bar on the cat and the other end on your ear and see if it is coming from there. Otherwise, remove the cat and check it....

Could check the fuse before hand? Might be that...

Search on here mate. It's Mass Air Flow. It's a sensor. There are guides on here of how to remove and clean. Make sure it is dry before you pop it back in. Also check the Coil packs are secured onto the spark plugs prolerly.

Is the air filter clean and intact? Tried cleaning the MAF? Are there any fault lights or fault codes stored?

Had a look on uprevs website but couldn't find the price for a license?? Is it on there?

Can you pull the amp fuse and see if that stops it?

I've got to agree, £400, especially for a DE where you will see hardly any noticeable improvements is a lot of money. I wonder if they would do a group booking discount of some kind? If tyhe MAP takes less than an hour, including loading it onto the rollers and setting up I would assume they have different maps stored and ready to load. That's also £400 after you've spent a few hundred doing supporting mods like the intake spacer, etc.

I'd start by getting the battery and alternator tested. Is the battery the original one?

Hmmm, I think that scratches my itch to spunk a load of dosh on plenum spacer, HFC's, etc + an uprev.

I guess its a good idea to get the car running perfectly before going for this and do any mods: - Service (oils, plugs, etc) - Air box mod - Plenum Spacer - High Flow cats / de cats (I'd go for the high flow for emissions reasons) - Uprated Y pipe - Updated panel filter Then I guess it depends on what condition your engine is in will depend the final output after the remap.
