  1. Thanks for the info Sipar! What is the inner lining like on it? Soft? Now I'm torn, a good review on the £50 halfords one, and £150 for the offical one! haha Looking at the picture of the official one, I notice that it actually says 370z on it. Part of the reason for the cover is also to avoid unwanted attention (we've had a car stolen from the address the car will be sitting at previously). Hmmmm decisions! Cheers for the help guys!
  2. Hi, I was just wondering if anyone would recommend any particular car cover or brand? I see that there are some for £25 and the Nissan Official one is £313. I'd probably be aiming somewhere in the middle, it's only for 2 months over Winter. Obviously I want what everyone wants....something good quality that doesn't cost the earth. Any help appreciated. Cheers, Dan
  3. Well it cost me £220 new from Turriff Tyres, but I know there is a similar product on ebay for less so I'd say about £160. The tailpipes are the really nice slash cut beveled ones. The ebay part only comes with the cheapy tips Cheers, Dan
  4. oh right, yeah there is, so you cant remove the holder all together, but if you just go from uk down to US size then there are no holes exposed.
  5. I think once you get the car you'll be screaming out for an exhaust, they are SOOO quite standard. And the short tails on their own give it a very smooth high end performance car sound (but they are quite loud) I've got de-cats fitted at the moment and the standard back box back on, I'm not sure I like the rasp, but the de-cats give a significant performance gain once you're mapped. I'm looking into valved systems etc. at the moment.

  7. There are some new single piece design Judd wheels that are not on the website just yet, the wheel on that porsche above is available as a one piece without the bolts, and there is a new wheel just out, I'll get pics up soon
  8. Pffffft warranty hahaha Well its a 30min job to switch between the standard back box and the short tails but its up to you
  9. This is the one I bought. The picture is generic and it doesn't look like that, its actually the perfect size for my plate which is 5 characters with an 11mm border. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Nissan-370Z-2009-2014-Front-License-Plate-Bracket-Non-NISMO-/151247153581?hash=item23370869ad&vxp=mtr I might have my exhaust up for sale depending on what I do, if you're interested you're welcome to test it before you buy, it doesn't take long to fit
  10. Thats the guy that did mine! 1st class work! Mounting a nexus 7 somewhere that won't get in the way will be an issue haha but the bluetooth audio would allow you to use the next/previous steering wheel/radio controls. I considered footwell lighting, I have done this on every other car I have owned but I have always had other stuff I wanted to do first on this one.
  11. Haha, it took me 2 weeks of ownership before I got an exhaust, but I didn't have any parts for it before I had it! The black roof is a great mod, simple but makes the car look a bit more serious.
  12. I got my plates from Demon Plates. Gave them a call spoke to Chris and asked for them to be cut as small as legally possible, which gives them an 11mm border all the way round. I bought the US plate holder from the american ebay and it was £60 including postage. Double photo shoot sounds like a plan! And yeah it was awesome, don't worry I drove it gently the salesman was in the car at the time! haha Cheers Dan
  13. No way!!! That is the exact one I test drove before getting mine!! I even have a picture of it from when I took the test drive! https://www.dropbox.com/s/1x1hbkxeeagy3nw/2013-11-01%2011.14.08.jpg Your car is responsible for me falling in love with the 370s haha!
  14. http://vid742.photobucket.com/albums/xx68/oldbonesmcgee/VIDEO0012_zpscuu5ndgd.mp4 First start after fitting them Yeah I'm in Aberdeen, that's good to hear I'm sure you'll love it! What colour you getting? Well I thought (at a young loon of 23) there was no such thing as too loud....I guess I'm used to smaller engined cars that only make so much noise even with a straight pipe. No matter, now to find a new solution because its too quiet with the standard back box on again.
  15. Hi All, I was just wondering if anyone knew where I would get a new door card for the 370z? When I owned the Saab there were companies selling OEM parts at reduced prices, are there some places like this? I just want a new alcantara bit (although I read that you need to replace the whole door card) because its doesn't look new and I'm a perfectionist haha. Any help appreciated! Cheers, Dan

    TPMS

Right....so do I not have TPMS or is mine broken. Because my rear tyre was flat enough to cause the car to "pull" under acceleration but I still got no light?
  20. Cheers, I can't remember if I saw those and just dismissed them because they were for the 350 but I guess it is probably the same. I think I will opt for jump in and find out route haha.
  21. Hi All, I have had a look at some threads on removing the front bumper, but I cannot find one that shows what happens with the headlight washers as American models don't have them. Even the service manuals on here don't have them!! Can anyone who's done this before help me out? Do the little caps have to pop off first or do I just go gung ho and it sorts itself out? Cheers, Dan
  22. I have had to put my standard back box back on because it was too loud for me haha. What I don't like is when you need into the next lane so you give it a little beans at a light and unleash the brutal deafening roar of the exhaust on some poor unsuspecting granny. I managed the de-cats myself but they were an absolute nightmare. A whole days work per side. And I can tell you, that video doesn't even tell half the story haha
