Do-Luck bodykit + These wheels? **Wheels arrived!**
oldbonesmcgee replied to Pritchard's topic in Wheels
Hi mate, if you fancy a set of the Vossen CVTs let me know. I know a guy local here with his own brand of wheels who uses the same factory as Vossen and can (and has) ordered up some CVTs. -
370z Headlight Modifying **Now Installed Page 3**
oldbonesmcgee replied to ross27's topic in Styling
Ah right, thats a handy wee thing to know about. I am toying with the idea of installing LED strips in my house and I wanted a remote dimmer without having to point it like a TV remote (which most are). Cheers! Dan -
[SOLD]370z Short Front Plate Holder (Genuine Part)
oldbonesmcgee replied to oldbonesmcgee's topic in 370z Parts For Sale
Well if you're feeling brave and police aren't too picky round your way you could fit a US import plate, which allows slightly smaller lettering and would look similar to the plate on the supercar below: -

Very nice work, I will be doing mine after Christmas. I thought those were the retrofit source rings to start with, but I see you are able to dim them? Are you using a controller for that or is it a function of the rings? Cheers, Dan -
Hi all, I have for sale my OEM Nissan short front plate holder. This is the holder that US cars use, so it fits straight into the standard holes. There are no exposed holes if you go from a full UK sized holder to this one. and the fit is 100% spot on. I imported this part from the states and part was £60 and the shipping/tax £30 (typical) SOLD!!!! Hopefully my plate in the pics is enough but I will take another tonight with my username. In action Cheers Dan

Haha I had the same thought with the BMW picture... Looks great and blue on anthracite wheels is such an awesome combo!

NISSAN 370Z GT LEATHER STEERING WHEEL £100 (1,000 MILES OLD)
oldbonesmcgee replied to R35LEE's topic in Member Traders
What condition is the wheel in? Has the leather gone shiney or is it still matte? And how hard are these to fit? Cheers, Dan -
I'm actually not a huge fan of the Nismo as a car, but I think thats because it sits too high and I don't like the wheels. I think this bumper on a lowered car with the right wheels will look good, here's hoping anyway The LEDs are £600 per side. So to save myself £1200 I'm going to fab up some Porsche style ones myself. We'll see how it goes haha, I've done custom headlight work before so this should be easy enough I'm hoping to achieve the solid bar of light look, and keep it looking as classy as possible. Cheers, Dan

Well tomorrow night I'll be able to check if the US plate holder fits..... because this sucker arrived... It will probably suit the car better than the lounge, theres also about £70-£80 worth of extra crap you have to buy, tow eye cover, grills, finishers, fender extenders etc. But progress has been made

How'd the reg look? I had a big Jeep Compass 2.2l CRD. Slightly different to the Zed. Lol Reg looks awesome! If you are interested, I don't think my US size plate holder will fit the Nismo Bumper, so if you were interested it would save you the hassle of importing one, then all you need is a cut down front plate. Its the classy way to run a smaller front plate Yeah, I am getting it picked up today so I'll be measuring up various bits and bobs and then getting it off to the paint guy

Anyone in the UK had a steering lock fault
oldbonesmcgee replied to oldbonesmcgee's topic in 370z General
Just spoke to someone from Nissan UK and they are paying for everything. He didn't tell me whether that was as a good will gesture or because of the service bulletin recall but I wasn't about to question it. I'm a happy man, and I have to say it is the kind of thing that builds confidence in a brand, car is out of warranty, not in the VIN range for recall, but fixed nonetheless.
