  1. They aren't actually that bad. I had Bridgestone RE050s fitted before and I didn't notice a huge difference tbh. The only time they break loose is when you're pushing it and the Bridgestones would do the same anyway.
  2. This is what I had before I removed my cats and ****ed everything up. Sounded amazing, definitely loud, especially on cold start, but not too loud by any means. Just a word of warning though, you won't be able to remove your cats with those short tails on, as it is simply impossible to live with!
  3. The thread title is loudest exhaust, and I think that has to go to test pipes and short tails, they will devalue property in your neighborhood in minutes. I have test pipes and am trying to get a valved exhaust so I can have a switchable volume
  4. I think they are on par with the front bumper. Not just on and off, but very little work required to get them to fit to a good standard.
  5. Just read through the build for this, really awesome car! Amazing rear end, looks bang up to date and I love the JDM size plate recess (no idea why haha)
  6. Looks good and sounds even better! Will be eagerly awaiting the impending "alterations"
  7. Haha I know, if only someone could do me a super cheap bargain on one Thanks! I know exactly what you mean, not a fan of many bodykits either but really thought the Nismo one had potential without the great big red bits on it. No I didn't get it from Nissan, just an eBay thing, it came with 3M sticky foam on the back rather than grill pins and I think its actually plastic rather than metal but does look identical to the one in your picture.
  8. I'm not sure, I guess it depends how the rest is done. you can just make out in the pics above that the bits above and below the "finishers" have been painted body colour on mine. On the real nismo this is supposed to be gunmetal, so if you did that black then body colour finishers might look quite good. Just not a fan of this...
  9. Thanks for the comments! I think the 2015 front end looks great, my one advise would be firstly its not as easy at it first seems. Being in the UK we need to have washer jets and the holes aren't big enough for them so you need to make them bigger by cutting the bumper, you also have to modify the washer jet system because the DRLs interfere with the system. The impact sensors also do not mount directly to the new bumper, and the foam that goes in the bumper also doesn't fit. Also I would spray the red bits, I personally think they look daft in red... and probably wouldn't suit a blue Z.
  10. Hey everyone....I need your help!!! I'm in a Facebook liking competition to win some detailing goodies from Auto Finesse, if you have a spare minute if you could click through the link below and like my picture I would be very grateful https://www.facebook.com/autofinesse/photos/a.10153296991635977.1073741875.172324505976/10153296991870977/?type=3&theater Much appreciated! Cheers Dan
  11. It will be £43 to ship them via Paisley Freight, thanks for the suggestion!
  12. Great looking part this, I was looking at the Aerojacket Type-M but might be tempted away, how difficult was it to remove your existing spoiler? The first picture of it fitted... I take it you're selling/trading in, what you getting next?
  13. I also have these filters and assumed they were just like normal foam ones that you can clean and re-use. I take it there's nothing wrong with just hovering the dust out of the filter as that's what I have been doing...
  14. Anyone? Great upgrade for anyone with a Base 370z or a 350z
  15. There are some places that can do it, and I have seen people have it done properly but its not a plain silver colour, its a light shadow chrome. They really pop when they are clean, and super lightweight Cheers Dan
  16. Not had any luck with mine so far at £850 but you should get more than that if they're spotless and with good tyres with lots of life.
  17. The car park pics are taken in the Fredrick street car park, there's always a whole floor empty as long as you go late enough. The harbour pictures are taken at Cove Bay. If you're free a weekend and you have a shiny car we can do a tour of the photo locations haha
  18. Thanks! Yeah it is the Nismo bumper, just with the red toned down to a more subtle black theres some pics here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/80977-370z-gt-with-2015-nismo-front-end-p12/page__st__220 page 12, 13 and 14
  19. Honestly I have to say the ride is quite considerably harsher with the small sidewalls. Also with there being a little bit of stretch on the front wheel the sidewall is even harder and you have to watch out for potholes. If you don't want that hassle then I would go with 9.5" on the front or something. The rim actually pokes out past the tyre so even a pothole could damage the wheel, and with wheels that expensive it makes you nervous haha. In other news I got my front plate fitted finally:
  20. bump Great ready to use package for someone, I will package them if the buyer would like them couriered. Cheers, Dan
  21. The plate holder is 34cm wide If you have a 5 char plate it will fit as long as you have the minimum legal border which is 11mm I use Demon plates, just give them a call (Craig is who normally helps me out) and you can ask him to make a 5 char plate as small as legally possible and it will fit this holder. These plates also have the BS mark and the postcode where made etc. http://www.demonplates.com/ Cheers, Dan
  22. Yeah they give the rear end a much needed lower profile look. And the ones from Tarmac are a great fit. Just a tip though, measure the height on both sides so they are the same, as mine are ever so slightly off and I haven't got round to refitting yet.
