I get this a lot. To the point where I don't actually bother correcting people any more, just smile, nod & say thanks. Yeah that's what I've resorted to. When I was over visiting my parents my mum said, oh look there's one of your cars! .... probably the worst condition 350z I've ever seen My girlfriends S2k seems to be regarded as an MX5 by everyone which she hates, (but secretly mx5s do look way more like an S2k than a 370z) She also gets quite a few dirty looks/jealous comments when driving it, I think because she is quite short it doesn't help, she looks 16!

I've made some tweaks, I'm still not convinced about the front though hopefully you can spot the subtle changes

Maybe I'm behind here but that is disgusting...its all out of proportion, way too narrow, stolen the rear roof line from the Vauxhall Adam, added some qashqai concept LEDs, fake bolt on arches??? I'll await V2 thats been fixed

Most offensive comment while driving the 370z.... "Nice 350 man!" or "Could someone move that 350 thats blocking me in"

I have connect premium and use my iPod hooked directly through the stereo and the quality is fantastic. I have also (just as a test really) used the hard drive function and ripped a CD to the hard drive. I believe it does this at 320kbps but I'm unsure, but the quality was AMAZING! Its ever so slightly louder than the iPod but the definition is fantastic! If only it wasn't so much extra hassle I would do it for more CDs.

Haha but it feels like I'm going to blow it up, anything past 5-6k seems excessive. If I'm overtaking then its right to the flashing red light but normal spirited driving I use the torque rather than the top end power, I prefer the deep grunt that you get lower in the revs too, rather than the high end wailing.

surely you knew it was a 2 seater before you bought the car? Haha yeah I knew it only had 2 seats but decided it was worth the sacrifice.

I came from a Saab 9-3, to me the 370s redline feels really high, and thats after driving my girlfriends S2000.

^^^ agreed, plus the extra 2 seats would pull me that way too, I've had my 370 since January and I'm already getting irritated not being able to get more people in.

Thanks man! Yeah I'm really not sure what to do side skirt wise. I'm still not sure if I like the whole side step thing which is what I was originally planning to do, maybe the splash guards plus the side steps (cutting also involved in this) would look good? And yeah CF fangs would look good and if this wrap peels up again I will be looking into it.

Thanks! OEM+ is exactly what I'm going for, almost nismo-ish but without being a wannabe. The lip doesn't sit any lower than the standard bumper, maybe 10-20mm at the very edges but clearance isn't an issue. My fangs are wrapped matte black. The bad news, the outer painted areas are fibreglass, the central bit is carbonfibre.

Clearance is the same as the stock bumper, so the GT chin plastic thingy is still the lowest part and only scuffs occasionally. fitment and quality are honestly fantastic. Evo-R obviously ship their parts from Taiwan so I had my doubts, but the pieces felt extremely strong and they fit the bumper perfectly. They're actually such a good fit that the tiny gap between the bumper and the lip is actually due to the sticky tape you need to put on to stick it in place. The paint is a 98% match (the sprayer warned me he could only guarantee an 80% match on this colour), the angles are very different to everything else in that area of the bumper so it looks a little off, from the top down it looks almost silver next to the grey but the match is very good. I think its also one of those things that shows in pictures more than in real life.

Not sure if its any help but I Just bought a 3 piece lip direct from Evo-R, fibreglass side bits and a carbon fibre centre bit, and all in with shipping and import it was 240 quid. I dont know if it makes a difference to the stone chipping (I would guess not) but the fibreglass is really strong, no flex in it. Up until now I thought this was a good thing, now I'm having second thoughts haha.

Oh the topic of 911s I wouldn't trade my 370 for anything less than a brand new 911, I just don't see the appeal. I think the 2015 Nismo could be better than it is, when it was revealed I did a photoshop of the front without the red... Call me sad but if that bumper becomes available to buy over here I will get it!

Hey I just read through your build thread now, awesome looking car (i might be biased though ) those rolling shots look amazing I bought my car when I was 22 as a "no longer a poor student" present to myself. For me it wasn't rapid Jap cars I had been driving it was hand-me-downs, a 1999 Clio, a fiesta and then a Saab 9-3 (which I actually loved). So I finally got the chance to buy a car all by myself and spent as much as I could possibly afford and got the 370z Having seen the mods you have done it seems we have similar taste, although I went for AAM short tails for maximum in your face V6 noise haha. Keep up the good work!

Why did you remove it? Did you do the job yourself, how labour intensive is the fitting process? Cheers Dan

You mean for screws etc? I think all the stuff there is so gigantic that there shouldn't be any small screws. Thanks! Yeah, 25mm spacers all round and Eibach springs, 25mm also AFAIK Thanks!!
