  1. Plenum spacer by Wasso Was like a kid at Xmas, awesome bit of kit and very very well made. Used the Motordyne guide which helped especially with the reassembly torque setting and sequence. Difficulty level 2/5 Strut brace and engine cover off and quick orientation. Very clean underneath for 75k I thought too. Torqued down in order an in stages, using the underside of the brake reservoir cover I placed the bolts down to represent the location of the bolt in situ. This provided a quick reference for fitting the new bolts as I know which length bolts went where at a glance. Run up to a car meet up Nottingham with a couple mates. Who said the VQ35 is bad on juice..... Next came my B&M shift knob out of my last car, works well with the Z33.
  2. Stop worrying haha
  3. Seats you slag....... Ive always fancied tan leathers for my GM
  4. I have a cheaper dash cam in the Zed and for the money I'm very happy with it. This is a picture at speed and the reg ahead is clearly visible. My phone is only 720p so YouTube will only go up to this and he quality of the recording on my laptop is double as sharp as was recorded in 1080p 30fps. The image has gone from device, to phone to YouTube, screen shot in my phone again then uploaded to photobucket. Again no issues with my Amacam AM-M81
  5. Just a smidge under 12v for cranking is fine, an issue can occur alternator wise if it under charges as well as overcharges.
  6. Even cheaper dash cams have 1080p, no great shakes
  7. Tbf a dash cam doesn't need to be the back up video equipment for TopGear, all it needs to do is show said vehicle/s and who's at fault. Any dash cam that's 30fps and 720p with night vision can do that.
  8. Good times pal, great u sticking around
  9. Well in time for Xmas
  10. Battery is shown on ignition on, alternator chare rate is shown when engine running. Fingers crossed all is ok mind
  11. Absolute bargain, such a good mod for an early model Z33
  12. Absolute legend, cheers man. Il leave it there as Nissan motor company is more clever-ra than me haha. at a glance, helps direct incoming air straight to the filter at least.
  13. Ramair WAI filter removed in favour of a 06 air box ready for the winter
  14. Some lad on Facebook group was breaking a crash damaged import
  15. On a separate note my alternator read similar just before it packed in, replaced and it shows a healthy 14.2v
  16. Alot of cases are coming back 50/50, ie your word against there's. Sorry to see hear of your collision, I'd be gutted and be still thinking if only I had did XYZ I have this and find it very good https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00XMMJAVI/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1476551961&sr=8-11π=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=dash+cam+amacam
  17. You can't get a sweet 570bhp evo 5 for circa 13k (I know of a yellow one about to go FS) for the money they pack a punch.
  18. I have both types of DE air box and both have the foam inside, how odd.
  19. What's the idea behind the removeable foam block at the bottom of the OE air box? David
  20. Should be fine fella and see the dipstick shows oil fine once you let the oil settle.
  21. I've recently fitted the JDM window switches to my UK 350z, worth every penny and its plug and play. All I had to do was reset the window auto settings, worked after a few tries and now it's bliss
  22. Maybe in the future it will be but not today, if say maximum a stock GT4 over the equivalent GT model 1.5k and no more imho.
  23. Every time you check the oil level on dipstick and wipe off the excess, you remove oil from the sump HAHA I've reduced my checks to every other day and now I use less oil for top ups yay - LOL
  24. I tend to check the level cold on flat surface, top up by the required amount and then check the level again in about 10mins as the top up oil runs down the dip stick to the sump it would seem low oil or idle speed, results in low presssure
