No it's just feels that way due to the giant Octopii in your diagram wrapping their extra long tentacles around anything close to the edge of the sea.

Can you set up a poll?

You'll be fine Chris as a disc exerts gravity as well, just in a very different way. You won't fall of but you will learn to walk at some extremely weird angles.

I know your comment was meant partly in jest, but the 911 is a good example to use actually. It gets a facelift every four years, and each time you can see the minor improvements that bring the car up to date without making it look obnoxious. Well, apart from the current Turbo/S that is way too fussy at the rear.
Most manufacturers work to a four year refresh give or take, I think. Even something like a Fiesta can look more modern once updated, but where the FT1 was once fresh it’s now been surpassed in outlandish angles by anything Lexus, Infiniti and the new Griff. It’s dated before it’s even out.
Lol yes it was in jest, but I knew we'd get a nice subjective view on why it's dated.
At least it's still nicer to look at than a new Civic type R, well IMHO anyway.

Bit like the 911 then

As Treats will be supplied as bullied to provide !! You may wish to bring a flask of tea or coffee. Might go rather well as an accompaniment !
Which would go better tea or coffee?

It's not too bad if it's still at concept. Kind of a Japanese Batcar crossed with a 6 series.

OK They said you can eat the results so I've done the chocolate experiment about 40 times - to confirm my findings
Now are there any doughnut experiments to prove the curvature of the earth as I am willing to try these - for science of course
The lake experiment with the laser - if he was lower at the far end then the earth is still round we are just on the inside of the curve - what he needed (as said above) was a reference point in the middle of the lake.
And the winner of this year's Nobel Prize for Doughnut Physics sponsored by Crispy Creme is....... @Keyser helping to flatten the earth with every step.

Again this is interesting and doesn't fit the globe model. Either the water is flat as per every test ever conducted or the salt flat is curved over the 10.5km sq and the water curves with it.
I guess water need for surface area to start doing its thing.

It's just a particularly flat part of a particularly spherical world, neither is exactly true but we need something to use as a basis that's good enough. That's how most things are. I always remember my physics lecturer at university telling us all that the greatest facts in the world are only made possible by mathematical hypothesis tempered by constants, but that without them we'd understand nothing, I.e. nothing we use is truly correct but if it's close enough for our needs then that's what we go with.
Good examples of this are pi - irrational number, calculus - stating that any curve can be treated as infinite straight lines and thermodynamics - equations are generally assume over a quasistatic period, i.e infinitely slowly when in fact many happen almost instantly in reality.
Wetting is described really well here @davey_83 if you want to understand it. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wetting
It's best described by Young's equation where we simplify spherical interactions into planar geometry to help categorise.
I would explain more but I've been walking whilst typing and unfortunately I've just feel of the edge of the earth!

He had a bit of a bad ending in Hawaii. His ship was badly damaged and had to return to Kona. Unfortunately the local islanders who had been busy celebrating the festival of love when he left were busily engaged in paying homage to war deities.
When he and some men went to reclaim a boat the locals stole it didn't go too well for them.

What about making a drift car Chris? Or maybe chop up and build the Dakar style car, put a really stupid amount of power through it and then make it in to a monster truck.

Hi @cs2000,
I am looking at doing the exact same thing right now as I have one faded centre cap and these look good.
I just need to check centre cap size as I'm running JR21 and I think it looks like you've got JR11? It Iooks like a different centre cap shape to mine.

Some extra options when creating content
in Site Suggestions & Feedback

It just struck me when looking at the events page that there's no real way to add tables or drop down boxes in the post we make. Is this a possible option to add?
For example being able to create and edit tables in posts would make things tidier and easier to read when inputting for things like events. It would make it a bit easier for REOs and everyone else to read whats going on.
What do you think?
