  8. Hi, the Nismo has gone so I have a few items to sell 1. AAM Compettion Resonated Shortails, specific for the 307z Nismo, 5" tips, burnt titanium look. These were purchased from Torqen end of February & were fitted a couple of weeks later, then removed when I sold my car, so they were on the car for a few weeks. They are like new. Selling for £60.00 the lot including postage - SOLD! 4. 370z boot carpet mat with stitched 370z logo, purchased from Clarke Motorsport, this is in very good condition, purchased new & used in the boot of my 370z for approx 12 months. I am away from 7th to 14th April, so I will not be able to post out any items week commencing 16th April.
  9. Sorry to hear that mate. I had my motorbike stolen in August (my pride & joy) a lovely MY17 Yamaha MT07 with just over 200 miles on it! These w*****s need stringing up!! Anyway, on a positive note, once the insurance was sorted out, went out the weekend after and swapped my 370z for a 370z Nismo. I hope the insurers play fair and give you an acceptable offer and you can go out and get another Nismo (or whatever else tickles your fancy)
  10. Yes I had the same with my Nismo. I told them twice to ensure that they checked/removed these before I collected. On collection they insisted it had been done, but it hadn’t! This was a main dealer....it’s crazy (it took me 2 mins to check and i’m no mechanic)

    New Nismo mk2

Checked yesterday and, yep, the shipping spacers are there!!! Had my local mechanic remove these these today and, as he had my car, he also fitted my 25mm spacers and red starter button. The car looks great with the spacers, and the red starter button has dramatically increased the BHP.....Not sure of the handling yet but looking forward to testing it out soon. Haven't spoken to the garage yet, that supplied the car, but will do tomorrow. Interested to say what they say considering I asked them twice to make sure they were removed as part of the PDI!

    New Nismo mk2

Ok, so I have just purchased a 370z Nismo (coming from a 350z HR and a 370z GT) A few questions I would love your expert advise on.... 1. Can I fit my 25mm Eibach spacers, taken from my 370 onto this, will it affect the handling? Will it void my warranty? 2. Can I fit a new exhaust without affecting the warranty? If so which one? (it's so quiet!!!!) That's it really, car seems nice, only done 40 miles so far as picked up this afternoon (bit bouncy but I guess that's the tuned suspension but will check the travel spacer things, just in case) Looking forward to replies and to hearing from other Nismo owners. I am sure (as with my 350 and 370) I will have further questions.....

    Car mats

I've just collected mine, no mats...they are extra. I have my old ones from the 370, so they will do I guess...but I would love Nismo ones!
  15. I agree with Rabbitstew, you need to take one for a spin! I moved from a 350HR to a 370, so I haven't really noticed any difference in performance. The difference I do like is the interior, its just a nicer place to be
  16. If you have any left, I am interested too....thanks
  17. 'Trouble Makers' how do I spot these
  18. That would be nice but unfortunately this track day has only just been released so I am sure that it will soon fill up.....unless they are all scared of going up against the mighty 370
  19. All great advise, many thanks. I intend to have Mitz do a full service over the next few weeks (car needs it anyway) There is an option to have some instructor training, think it's £20.00, I go opt for this extra... Didn't realise about the tyre pressures increasing, I need to sort foot pump & tyre pressure gauge.
  20. As per title, after 2 years 350z and 370z ownership I have finally booked my first track day, 2nd September at Mallory park. Really looking forward to it but....any advise chaps!!
  21. I had an RS turbo given to me as a company car when I was 24!! What a great car, seemed super quick at the time, ok so I built up 9 penalty points for speeding in 2 months, but I had such great fun with it.... Was a shame, the company I worked for went into liquidation and I had to get a new job, with a new company car....an Austin Montego 1.6l (well it was the recession after all) What an absolute pile of s**t Oh well you take the rough with the smooth I guess....
  22. So I've just arrived in San Francisco for business but I'm with my missus so I have arranged a couple of days sightseeing also. I'm going to be travelling round a bit, Monteray Bay, San Jose, etc, so decided to hire a car from SF airport. Pre-booked with Virgin, didn't want to risk the Mustang or similar route as I have heard the horror stories of sh1t Chrysler alternatives....so I booked a Rav 4!! Got to the desk this afternoon, asked about upgrades, was offered a Mustang or quality SUV in place of the RAV4, but for $70 a day extra (I have booked the car for a week) Eventually got the guy down to $20 a day extra for a Dodge Challenger, yes basic spec, yes v6 not v8 but I think I'm happy with it....I've only tackled the roads from the airport to my hotel in SF!! But tomorrow, we take the coast road down to Monteray Bay, should be fun.... I will try to take some photos and post them up....
