Cobra exhaust and 25mm spacers fitted today at Cougar Store (great service as always Mitz) Exhaust sounds great, not too loud below 3000 them all hell breaks loose, perfect! Spacers feel ok, car feels 'planted' and it looks so much better. Did about 150 miles today in the new zed, gave us a chance to bond a bit. Got to be honest, wasn't sure about the 370 at first, but it is growing on me....(of course the exhaust has helped!!) Still no proper photos, took a couple quick shots today but of the front of the car so you can't see the exhaust (what dumb a**) will post these up anyway from my phone Anyway the car won't feel right until my PMX plate goes back on, then I will take some decent shots and post them up.....

BBK, great deal mate, fair play to you. To be honest, I put mine up for sale a few weeks ago, 2008 HR (bought n 2013 for £12k) few basic mods, 64k but great service history, etc, wanted to sell quick so £9k.... had no offers, so being the impatient b*****d I am ending up part ex-ing for a lot less than this for my next car. Anyway, I am ok with the deal I got but I asked the guy at the garage what would happen with my car, it's too old for their showroom so will go to auction. It's such a shame it's a really nice car, should have gone to someone who will appreciate it! Oh well....

Quick question, does the 370z boot lid suffer from the same problem as the 350z boot lid?....and more importantly, is the fix the same? (penny trick!)

Car collected tonight, all seems good, although I have only done 40 miles driving home on a busy dual carriageway! Still no pics, maybe tomorrow or maybe Friday after the exhaust and spacers have been fitted. I'm going to drive the car for a few days and will then post my thoughts and comparisons with the 350. I think I really need to compare once the exhaust has been fitted as the car just feels/sounds strange with the standard exhaust (this might be because I am just used to the Scorpion I had fitted to my 350) First impressions though, the interior is really nice, multimedia/sat-nav is great. Oddly enough the car feels quite a bit bigger than the 350 even though I know it's not.....but this should, hopefully, change as I get used to it.

Collected my 370 tonight, they had to replace the engine oil temperature sensor? Car seems good, no EML, oil temp gauge is now behaving and most importantly the car is responding as it should, so happy days!!

Thought I would add something to this thread, I bought a 370 New Year's Eve and on the way home had an 'erratic' oil temp gauge, 70 degrees, then 150 degrees then back to 70 degrees.... At the same time, I also noticed that the power delivery was not quite right. After a few miles, the EML came on and I returned the car back to the garage (where I was handed the keys to a lovely bright yellow Honda Jazz courtesy car!!!) It was checked today at a Nissan garage and I have been told that the oil temp sensor is faulty. It is being fixed tomorrow am and I am collecting tomorrow pm. So, I am hoping that it is just one of those things and everything will be fine on collection and I haven't bought a 'pig in a poke'......we will see?

So I picked up my 370z yesterday and said a sad goodbye to my 350. I have pre-ordered a Cobra exhaust and 25mm spacers from Mitz, so just waiting on a fitting date for these, can't wait for these to be done, the standard exhaust is so quiet, and the spacers should really improve the stance. That's it for mods for now, Christmas, the purchase of the 370 and the exhaust has pretty much cleared me out. I'm sure as I will be asking many (stupid) questions over the next few weeks, as I did when I bought the 350.....

Thanks, yes you are right, I just checked their web-site & they sell these. Just got to wait until I get my car now (hopefully I am collecting Saturday) just to double check that it needs one of these.

It's time to sell my 350, sad to see it go, but I have decided to buy a 370.... It's a 2008 (57 reg) car, full GT spec including Sat Nav upgrade (with 2013 maps) in Twilight Grey with 64,000 miles on the clock. It has 5 former keepers & was registered 02/04/2008 It's has a full service history, as follows:- 1. P1 @ 4611, 11/12/08, Nissan Dealer 2. P2 @ 13922, 07/05/09, Nissan Dealer 3. P1 @ 22999, 30/09/09, Nissan Dealer 4. P3 @ 32120, 11/01/11, Nissan Dealer 5. P1 @ 38032, 23/02/12, Nissan Dealer 6. P1 @ 42269, 08/02/13, Nissan Dealer 7. P2 @ 49922, 20/05/14, Cougar Store 8. P1 @ 58840, 11/05/15, Cougar Store The last 2 services were carried out during my ownership. Cougar store also replaced the brake discs & pads (Black Diamond front & rear 6 groove discs with BD pads) on 03/06/14 They also repaired the O/S compression arm on 22/05/2015 I had new MPSS tyres all round fitted on 10/04/15, so lots of life left in them. I had wheel alignment checked in September. I have owned the car for over 2 years now, no issues mechanically except for the compression arm (as detailed above) The car was stock when I bought it except for a Scorpion exhaust, which sounds great. I had added the following very small modifications:- 1. Stubby (I have the original) 2. Bluetooth adapter 3. 370z front & boot mats 4. Boot divider from I4N 5. 20mm/25mm spacers from Tarmac (I can remove these?) 6. Black film to orange side reflectors (temporary measure until I decided what to do about these, easily removeable) 7. Rays sprayed Anthracite grey 8. K&N panel filters (I have originals) 9. Black zed badges & lettering (I have originals) So if you wanted to return back to stock, it wouldn't take much work... A few small issues with the car:- 1. It has a few small marks on the paintwork, stone chips to the front of the bonnet, etc, in keeping with a car of this age but no dents or dings. 2. The drivers seat has wear to the bolster, which is common on these cars. 3. The 2 front wheels have scratches to the paintwork. 4. The fuel gauge is not great, again a common fault with this car. I am selling at £9,000.00 which I think is a very good price, as I am keen to get my new ZED! Please no silly offers, as I always have the easy option of using this car as a part-ex for my next ZED. Here is a photo of the car as it is at the moment. I need to give the car a good wash over the next couple of days, I will then post up more pics Please PM me with any questions... Thanks

Ok, so I have mentioned before that I want to move from a 350z to a 370z...... I am generally quite lazy with this sort of thing so I normally go for part-ex which is the easiest route. The problem I have at the moment, is I am being offered stupid money for my car, it's a good, genuine 2008 HR, GT, 64,000 miles now, I have looking after it properly for the last 2 years, full Nissan service before I bought it, Cougar Sports since including P3, plus new brake discs and pads, plus new MPSS a few months ago.....so it really tick's me off to be offered £6k on a part ex... Sorry I am just having a rant here....this is not an advert for my car. When/if I sell my car, it will be via the proper channels.

So have had a good look round but Junction 17 still have a decent selection of 370's to look at. Probably going to go view this Sunday..... Again I have to ask the question....are there any members around the Peterborough area that might be able to spend an hour or so helping me look at their cars??? Pete (PMX)

Thanks for all your comments. Went to see the car yesterday, was very nice and was quite tempted.... But he offered stupid money on the part-ex for my HR, so that's the end of that. Anyway, it was the first time I have really studied the 370z up close, in detail.....what a lovely car it is..... I had actually been thinking about other cars, Audi TTS, Porsche Boxster, etc, but after seeing this car I want, I want, I want.... Just need to sell mine and find the right 370. On a side note, the Le Mans blue is spectacular on this car.....
