Morning. So we are now getting into the cold weather up here in Aberdeen and the Z seems to have a nannying feautre which swirches the OBC display automatically from wherebver it was to show ambient temp and warn of ICY weather below 3°C. This means that every morning I am going to have switch the display back to display speed as I like it every morning from now until maybe April next year! Is there a way to stop it switching?

Yeah, he is fairly chuffed although he had to sell his skyline to buy the place! Can do Jeff. It does have one slightly annoying feature which may hinder access out of the garage once the car is lowered but we will need to figure out a way around it at some point anyway so maybe you can be be the guinea pig!

My brother recently moved into his first home - his garage is pretty epic! Makes life so much easier than dicking around with jacks and axle stands. I find the Z to be particularly hard to get up on jacks for some reason, mine is on aftermarket springs but wouldnt say it was low compared to others.

Have a look on the polished bliss website. There are loads of guides, recommended products for specific paint types as well as all teh detailing products you could ever want to buy. I went through a bit of a detailing phase a couple of years ago but struggle to find motivation for it these days

E36 M3s, E39 M5s and R32 GTRs definitely aren't going to get any cheaper so a clean one of any of those would get my vote. I have been keeping half an eye out for a good one at a bargain price but it would mean selling my Z, E28 and then some so wouldn't be an easy swap. Think only the E36 would be a realistic daily too. M5s I read struggle to get 15mpg if you are even a bit heavy footed and no doubt and ageing RB26 is bound to get expensive and troublesome sooner or later.

The comma stuff seems to be available in Halfords for £11.99 so going to pick up a can for the weekend. Do you just bung it in that vent and run the aircon on full for 10 mins or something?
