  1. Its not that easy on the 370z as the car uses the handbrake signal AND GPS speed I looked into this with mine , a company in the US sells this kit http://www.carkitcompany.com/nissan-370z/nissan-370z-bypass-remote Which i assume will work on Euro models
  2. I remember diehard Skyline fans calling the R35 ugly when it was launched, owners of the older models called the 2017 model hideous as well http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/115736-r35-ugly-sin-can-i-beat.html I hated the current Type R but the more I see it i like it , I'm guessing this will grow on people as well but ultimately if you don't like it don't buy one
  3. Good effort , i tried similar but couldnt get it to work so just used the tablet as a standalone
  4. I think there is an argument that harnesses should never be used with reclining seats but i never paid any attention to it
  5. You can set it up to send regular tracking texts but it will use up you credit pretty quick
  6. I also remember a 350z driver having difficulty keeping up with a Mk2 Fabia VRS , you need a lot of extra horsepower to make a difference on the road
  7. Without being too personal , if she is a bit busty then she wont fit harnesses comfortable , they need to be tight you cant set them loose, you can just fit one on the drivers seat , you can even retain your seat belt and just switch when you feel like it
  8. No but i'd like to give the authorities a fighting chance to find it and prosecute the thief
  9. Yep these ones the bike guys use , I use one myself hardwired in a discreet location Text the tracker and it sends back the location via a google maps link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201581003584?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649
  10. Its not worth it for the hp increase imo but it is worth it in the way the car drives afterwards , they just feel more lively and responsive
  11. Nothing wrong with the surface there in fact its a lot better than where i usually run (Shakespeare County) , Santa pod is the fastest drag strip in the world , thanks to Sammy Millers 3.58@386mph run in the 80's, it often has 300mph + top fuel cars No I mean the surface are designed or drag racing. Here in Croatia we are racing on abandoned airplane strips and similar. Si there is a lot of issues with traction. While in Hungary few hours drive from my place the use a drag strips with rubber surface at first 50 meters or how much Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk Yes whilst Santa Pod is an old WW2 airfield from where US bombers were based its been a drag strip since the 1960's , the surface is excellent and not only rubberised but often sprayed with traction compound to make it sticky , its not unknown for your shoe to stick to the track on the startline. The track where I tend to run is still rubberised but rarely treated and much more slippery off the line In the US where drag racing is more popular and a lot more tracks stock 350z can run 13.1's TT cars are in the 9's https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840-top-25-1-4-mile-times-for-tt-st-supercharger-nitrous-bolt-ons-stock.html

  13. The problem I found is that all the local tyre fitting places around here no longer charge a fiver a wheel. If you havent bought the tyre from them they want £20 a wheel to fit, which personally I think is a bit excessive. In general ive been amazed at the terrible attitude most of my local tyre fitting places have. Questioning why you want a certain brand of tyre, dismissing that make as being rubbish and trying heavily to push the "el cheapo brand" tyres they sell instead. Then sighing and tutting as if they just dont want the work etc. The larger fee to fit loose tyres is down to online purchasing, some of this cost of taken up with the margin when the sell tyres , if they cant sell tyres then they lose that margin Some tyre places can be funny , I guess I am fortunate around here as there are a couple of decent ones and healthy competition that keeps the prices down
  14. Think this video demonstrates how difficult it can be to get a 350z off the line FWIW a stock 2009 Focus RS also runs a 13.7 .
  15. OP didnt state 2010 others assumed 2010
  16. They stock the tyres they sell , when i had a puncture on my 370z no-one had a front tyre in stock, phoned around 30 places , no one even had one the right size let alone a PSS
  17. Of course no doubt "shenanigans" will be claimed again given "representative of production specification" statement but cant blame them for fitting a roll cage really Still very impressive for a fwd car and great to see the development
  18. Yeah this tax thing has me worried, I think we are already too heavily taxed, I did put Tory on the poll but thinking that I might change my mind , no point me voting anyone else in my area though
  19. Yes but it wouldnt be a walk over, the Ford would launch much better (4wd) than the 350 but the 1/4 mile time for the Focus is 13.4 @ 105 mph which is on par with a stock 370z (But its significantly harder to get a 2wd car off the line cleanly) I would think a supercharged 350z with a good driver could run a 12.8@112-114 http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/2016-ford-focus-rs-vs-2015-subaru-wrx-sti-2016-volkswagen-golf-r-final-scoring-performance-data-and-complete-specs-page-5
  20. Yes and the fact they dont have the overheads than the local places have, less staff, no workshop, no equipment to buy etc etc etc , however you still need them in the chain , the only people getting rich from selling tyres is the online places , people like Mike Welch
  21. Phone around your local places and see what they can do , if you don't support your local tyre dealers there wont be anyone to fit your website purchased ones in the future . I have a good relationship with mine, they cut me a break last year when I bought 4 MPSS meaning i got £100 of fuel from Michelin (Offer is on at the moment i believe) and they also fitted 4 new tpms sensors and re balanced a set of wheels for me recently , charged me £20, worth paying a little more for your tyres to support guys like this imo
  22. I used to use Dodo Supernatural hybrid on my R34, looked very glossy, I prefer sealants to waxes on silver, easier to get the flake to pop and give a different clarity, its not as easy to get Silver to look stunning Also liked the look of Zaino z2 on my old Evo 6 for the same reasons
  23. Last stopped early 2000, no brake lights on my 4 week old Freelander , I had just left the dealer after they re-fitted the brake pedal that had fallen off a week before.
