  1. The vents are under the polystyrene stuff under the false floor. It certainly looks like it would be the seal however if there isn't any water in your boot I probably wouldn't worry about it!
  2. There is a small vent in each corner of the boot behind the foam stuff. That is the seal from the vent. If you have a look at your boot floor you may find you have a little puddle forming.
  3. I was speaking to a copper about this recently and he said in the eyes of the law there is no such thing as an accident. It is a road traffic collision and all of them are meant to be reported to the police and they will then take a view as to whether any further action needs to be taken. He said its the law as it stands. Obviously they don`t tend to get involved in something that is just a small coming together but if its more serious then they take a view on whether action should be taken to stop it happening again, such as an awareness course. Or they may just prosecute because they feel the outcome requires it and you need to suffer the consequences. Hopefully he was wrong and you are not obliged to report it. I know i would never involve them unless forced to as they always seem to make matters worse I can guarantee you that not all accidents are reportable to police, only if there is injury or if insurance details are not swapped are Police needed to be contacted. This comes from being a cop and unfortunately having far too many calls about minor RTC's.
  4. Yeah I'm from Kirkcaldy so just down the road. Will give you a PM and get a meet arranged sometime!
  5. That looks absolutely stunning. Pictures look like they have been taken in Glenrothes, are you local to there?
  6. My clutch went a few months ago and I bought the extreme clutch kit from Clark motorsport. I can only recommend it, definitely revs a lot more freely with the SMF.
  7. I'm 21 with 4 years no claims and I'm with admiral with mods declared and it was £570 for me.
  8. I have Axa Assistance provided through my work and on the one occasion that I have had to use them they were as good as I could have expected. They asked on the phone if the car was modified in anyway. As I told them it was lowered they sent a low loader. Can only recommend them on my personal experience.
  9. I had the same problem when I first got my car and the problem was there is a small vent in the rear of each quarter panel. Take the foam out and have a look at them as one of the seals had failed. Zmanalex will be able to sort you out with one if this is the problem.
  10. Do you still have the ac amplifier?
  11. Once again excellent service from ewen who had my new Window motor with me the next day. Always appreciate the haribo as well!
  12. There's nothing inside the door that can be jammed it's not a normal scissor sort of mechanism unfortunately!
  13. I haven't got a new motor I tried to replace the brushes in the old one..which failed. My problem now is that I need to order a motor but until then I need the window closed. How do you realingn the window? As it will not stay fully up.
  14. Can anyone help as the rains getting quite heavy and I don't really want the inside getting soaked I have around an inch gap at the top now.
  15. No the motor isn't working at all. I guess I'll have to buy a new one. The glass just falls back inside the door if not help up.
  16. Sorry guys I have the door cards off and motor out tried to replace the brushes on it after seeing a guide online. Clearly I'm not very good with electrics as it still doesn't seem to be working. When I have tried to put the motor back in the window now sits about 2 inches from where it should and I can't see how to reposition it. Thanks.
  17. Can anyone help with how to reposition the windo as it is stuck down and now starting to rain!!
  18. V power 1.14.9 up in Scotland!
  19. I've got a milltek with de-cat and it doesn't give much rasp and there is no drone at all. It's quiet at motorway speeds but reasonably loud if you put your foot down. Seems the best of both worlds for me as I couldn't live with an extremely loud exhaust.
  20. 09 plate 370z spotted in Kirkcaldy today have seen it a few times from a distance drove past it today and gave 'the nod' to the driver. Anyone on here?
  21. V power is 124.9 up here in Scotland but unfortunately the nearest tesco is a 20 mile round trip. Still much better than it was though.
  22. Have to agree with this, my mum has one and for everyday driving they are great and surprisingly nippy for being such a small engine. Why not go fiesta St? A lot of good deals on them at the moment.
  23. I had the same problem a few weeks ago found out that it was one of the vents behind the black foam in the boot. The seals seem to be made of a foam type of material which brakes easily. They are easy to replace just pull them out and put new seal in. Zmanalex supplied mine for me. Cheap fix as well!
  24. Amdetails bubbles is amazing, smells great and lathers up really well. Great dilution rates as well.
