    Although some distance from you, when I bought my nismo with Alex f noble in Edinburgh it was probably the best test drive I've been on. We were out for just over an hour giving a true reflection of what the car is capable of.

    I had a similar problem after the car being in for a service turned out to be a faulty bonnet sensor which was replaced under warranty.

    Slightly off topic but has anyone with a nismo had issues with the drivers sear wearing on the bolster on the back of the seat?

    From your profile picture it looks like your car is a de? If that's the case the xtreme is about £700.

    Speak to Clark motorsport about the xtreme kit that they do. Had that on my last 350z and was excellent.

    As far as I am aware you can only get manual nismos in the UK. However they are available in Europe and the US.

    Make sure that you have the pressure plate for the DE engine as on my previous car when I replaced it with the same clutch I had received an HR plate by mistake which caused the same problem.

    It was only early mk2 nismo that came with the standard seat base. The 2016 version is the full recaro instead. Will get some pics up later.

    I drove one a couple of weeks ago and thought the exact same. It felt huge and a tad under powered. I drove a 370z nismo about an hour later and bought it there and then. Yeah it's not the fastest car in the world but it felt a lot nicer to drive than the mustang.

    Got it sorted today. A mate of mine had raceglaze alcantara cleaner. Sprayed a little on agitated with a soft brush then wiped clear. Has dried up now and stain is completely away. I think I will definitely be looking into getting covers.

    I have done about 500 miles in my 370z nismo and have noticed that there is staining on the red alcantara bit of the seat where my right let sits. It looks like colour transfer from jeans. Does anyone know how to clean this and also if there is anyway of protecting them or if a cover is the only option? Thanks in advance!

    Bought my first one when I was 19 and picked up my new 370z nismo last week aged 21.

    It was me that must have been infront of you on Saturday night. Totally didn't realise another zed behind me.

    It comes with 344bhp so a slight increase in power but nothing that noticeable. However after driving a standard 370z it felt like it handled a bit differently, possibly due to the reworked suspension.

    Thanks for all the comments guys. Absolutely loving it so far and the recaro seats are fantastic.

    After owning a 2004 350z for a few years I thought the time was right to upgrade. So got myself down to Alex F Nobles Nissan in Edinburgh and a few weeks later this arrived. Hopefully this will encourage me to be a bit more active on the forum. I'll get more pics up when the weather thaws out a little and I get the chance to give it a proper wash.

    Most definitely a step up in quality. Im in Kirkcaldy as well so maybe when your zed comes out of hibernation we could arrange a meet.

    That would be me, picked it up today! Have to say it's such an improvement over the 350z I had previous! Are you local?
