  1. Oh yes, couple of things......... Love those side skirts, so if you ever decide to sell them, let me know Fix that exhaust......... needs some serious silencing Cobra tracker has had some issues (http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/317737-cobra-tracker-may-kill-your-car.html) Please change that god awful coolant tank in the engine bay
  2. About time Pops and bangs map completely and utterly chav, but so much fun in the tunnels of France Mines getting it done now Hahaa, nice try Wheels isnt modifying, its like chicken is not really meat, its just salad Oh yes, GTROC are doing a trackday at Silverstone 25th October.... I will be there and one of the other members is pitching up in a Juno (2.0 Honda 560kgs) and it might have a passenger seat he was pulling 1.37g in corners in a video
  3. Doesnt he have an LS3 motor just lying about
  4. My training is rather different.... I dont train for size, more strength - I used to do a lot of climbing, got injured and been struggling to go back. However, my training plan has remained the same. Im currently at 76kgs, 5'10 and around 15%.... about a year and a half ago it was 70kgs and 9%, but then I injured myself climbing (4 tendons pulled in fingers, rotor cuff and a bicep - all done climbing ). Sadly I still love it, but carrying up 10kgs of additional muscle is just not worth it! I train back, triceps, chest, biceps and shoulders on individual days, rarely train legs (other than cycling and squash) and should be climbing weekends.

    R34 vs R35

Yeah and when it goes wrong, you are going a lot faster than most other http://youtu.be/zF37Ub7rEgk
  6. That sounds good and well priced.... may give that a go, as I think CATDT is pricey
  7. Few more of mine from ASDA day, she is currently in getting R888 tyres, RS29 pads, new ecutek firmware and maps all-round.
  8. Takes time and effort to learn, so track days, driving training, etc... A nice combo will do the trick
  9. From the tests I have seen, from fellow GTR owners and our trusted race driver.... on track, the MPSC2s and R888s will produce very similar times, but the MPSC2s are harder to master. The R888s are more constant. Also keep in mind that MPSC2 are 255/285 and R888 are 285/315 (the largest staggered setup I can run). Price wise, the MSPC2s are about £200 more expensive... I am going by trusted reviews of both tyres, I have used R888s on an old impreza (and loved them) and MPSSs I have on the GTR currently. I was very tempted to try the MPSC2 tyres, but the standard bounce/wobble in high speed corners puts me of massively. It does not inspire confidence..... Will be at Thruxton 11 September with new brake pads, tyres, v5 ecutek firmware and new maps all-round if anyone fancies come down Interested to hear your responses on the Vorti I am thinking more the above but will see how it goes. I cant just buy sets of wheels and tyres and test to find which I prefer, I replace when needed and hope its the right choice though saying that, if the R888s are too much on the road, I will be buy a set of road wheels and putting some decent road tyres on them
  10. Depends. Cup2 are the ultimate trackday special and this time they also work well in the wet, but on a GT-R would you want that much grip? If you want to feel the car move around a bit more, I think the MPSS would be the better choice. Really does depend on what you want out of the car. Ultimate trackday tyre would be the r888 its what I have gone for.... The MPSS tyres were a good all round all weather tyre, the cup2s are a bit better... but they still have too much bounce on track. I ran a 285 squared setup with the MPSS. Will switching to staggered 285/315 r888s. The bridgestones are just shocking (and leaning towards dangerous) in the wet. The dunlops were quite harsh on the road (being runflats) and I had 3 punctures and had to replace one rear tyre in 4k miles.
  11. CatDT is on GTROC and offer some very good courses - very good feedback from GTR owners that have been. Something that has given me a lot more confidence behind the wheel is drift training. I did one of the taster days with a friend and it was great fun, but then went and did a day at Learn2Drift and it was awesome fun!! Its all done in their cars with their tyres Corner entry at redline in 2nd gear followed by scandi flick and a touch on the wand (or clutch kick).... I liked it because it gives you a chance to find out what happens when the rear lets, how you control it and what happens when you dont control it (spin out, etc) Personally, Im not that interested in being the fastest, more about having some fun with my cars
  12. 240z me please!! I have a UK 240z being rebuilt
  13. If you mean me, I ran mine at Bruntingthorpe with traction off, new tyres should make me more comfortable, so dont see why I would have it on.... cant switch off the active AWD
  14. No worries mate.... its a great position for me, I help S sell the car and you buy a nice one..... I come out looking great Not a problem at all, glad I could help.... and if others are looking, my services are available
  15. May have to shave a LOT of weight in order to get it down to that
  16. Awesome looking, glad you liked it! As you know I saw the car on the GTROC Euro Tour and it was rather good, needs a clean, but other than that its awesome!!!
  17. That is the plan.... GTR will become track focused - so rear half cage, lightweight seats, harnesses (for track) and attempt to drop some of the weight (without breaking the bank).
  18. I use the term "replace" lightly GTR would probably get stripped and lightened for track doubt I could bring myself to actually sell it
  19. hahahaaaa, a tesla........... I just cant see that happening A shame that this Aston is £250k, limited to 100 units and all are already sold. Do LOVE that noise...... cant beat that sound!!! Very tempted by the V12 Aston, not as bad ass as this one, but would do the job!
  20. Nope but they are helping me out so that I can stop killing O2 sensors and maybe get rid of some of the black soot
