Ive the .410 version of that mossberg with a silencer (moderator) on it which I use for lamping, and in the USA its known as the "defender" aimed at home defence! They do it with a much shorter barrel, no stock and a "spreader" choke which helps you maneuver it in tight spots and inflict max damage to scumbags inside your house. How quiet is this? Those shells in the pic in a box are 50g BB loads 3 inch magnum shells, the recoil is savage, it would decimate anything that got in its path! Wouldn't a shotgun be more use for crows?! That H and K is so much fun, more suited to rabbits but you would probably freak people out hunting with that

Is the TC different between the 3 models and or the imports?

I hit the loud pedal hard to turn out of a junction and it came on briefly as the back slid and it corrected itself. I personally feel the TC is spot on, it never intrudes even driving quite quickly. My old 200sx tuned to 250hp with no TC would weave all over the place, I wished at the time this had TC. My last car a focus st running 290hp was like a disco, every time you accelerated it would make the TC come on, but I guess this is down to FWD as apposed to RWD.

Ive only ever seen the TC light flicker twice in a year of ownership. How on earth are you guys getting it to come on just by accelerating?!

So finally after ringing around a lot of the specialists insurance companies, HIC (sister company to Flux) are the only one who seem to want my business. Quote came in £140 higher than Esure and they matched it on the spot. This is on a modified policy and are mod friendly so hoping if funds allow to have the Z up-Reved in the near future. Good work guys really impressed.

To be honest if your well over a £120 dearer this time, I cant see how another years no claims would make any difference? I am 31 live in one of the best postcodes for insurance, drive very little, don't use the car for work and have 8 years no claims. Pricing strategies change. Targeted demographic changes. New insurers taken onto the panel. Insurers change their own risk models. Chris Knott could be £200 cheaper next year with exactly the same details never mind an extra years no claims. Brokers probably have more propensity to give you a better price one year to the next that a singular insurer That is good to know, I much prefer to use a specialist than say Esure etc.

Did we know what your quote was when we offered our price? If this is a newer quote we'll happily use it to negotiate with the insurer as it's evidence that they need to go lower. Yeah I did state the price with and without mods and the fella said it was a cracking price and couldn't come close.

Tried you guys but still find you to far out compared to the comparison sites, if it was a matter of only a small amount over Id choose you but were talking £120 and I cant justify that even though I know you have a much better approach to cars and customers. Bit of a daft coincidence but since I have fitted my Cobra the alarm goes off randomly for like 3 or 4 seconds. Any ideas what could be causing this? Did look on an American forum and they suggested a bonnet sensor?

I have moved from esure in the past and the letter they sent out was the number I expected, they moved my full no claims to green light and I then moved this plus one year back to esure when I bought my 350z. Will check with them on the uprev as this is a good point
