  1. This is exactly the car I have been thinking off now my mileage has increased
  2. It is the resonated cobra! I will get some pictures of the interior.
  3. It stung alright, it wasn't slipping at the time but the pedal was high, it made night and day difference to the driving of the car.
  4. Have done, just thought mine might be a little more desirable having the clutch done, didnt want to appear to cheeky with the price! Thing the problem is there really isnt that many of these out there.
  5. I'm looking for a little help, its with a heavy heart I've decided its time to see my Zed. The problem is the price, I'm struggling to work out what to ask for it! Here is a little more information, any help would be appreciated. Here a rough list off the top of my head. In no particular order, 2007 (56 plate) gunmetal 296 GT with sat Nav Full history, and I really mean full! There are stacks and stacks of receipts, and a fully stamped up service book. I am the 3rd owner, with the last owner being a doctor owning her from ten months old. There is even a receipt of 22k when he bought it! 58k miles but will increase. Cosworth panel filter fitted after I bought her. Replaced clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder and a braided line less than 2000 miles a go. Full cobra cat back done last year, again, i bet it hasn't done 5000 miles. Ferodo front pads replaced this year. Rear pads replaced last year. MOT until Dec 15. Rays refurbed Sept 13, three are immaculate with one having a tiny bit of curb rash that I only discovered last week :-( at the time I replaced the rear tyres for MPSS I have put 10000 miles on them and they still look as new. Car is washed by hand weekly, rinsed, snow foamed, cleaned with autobrite products. Shes had a full valet 3 times since I bought her in Aug 2013. Front bumper needs a respray due to stone chips, I am having this done in three weeks time. Stubby aerial! She really is one of the good ones, and when washed the paint work comes up like glass. Always run on Vpower. Pics on the way.........
  6. Im doing the two week wait at the moment, driving on a dual carriage way down a hill, at bottom I saw a camera van hard over on the opposite side of the road with its bonnet facing towards me, the black window was at the back of the van so hoping they were doing the traffic opposite.

  8. I have a 350z and think it looks dated in comparison to the 370. Overall I think the 370 is the nicer car of the two and would have one in a heartbeat if I could afford one.
  9. Sorry mate, im in sandbach cheshire.
  10. I have one but Im a fair way from you mate.
  11. About £200 at the mment! As Ive had a bad run of bills for the Z and a holiday! I pump a lot of my extra cash straight into my mortgage though as money in the bank doesn't earn much interest. Car is paid for clean and clear as is my motorbike so if I needed cash I could raise some. It does seem a bit hand to mouth at the moment though!
  12. Gilles rearsets now fitted! Also made a custom baffle as 106db was never going to pass the MOT so its now down to a more friendly 76! Fingers crossed for the MOT
  13. Shotgun is much more humane than an air rifle, I doubt you will hit one with an air rifle only if they were sitting which I doubt they will be!
  14. Mine hit the flashing - - - - filled up and still had 20 litres in the tank
  15. I bought my car with the current wheels heavily curbed, the condition of the rest of the car more than made up for this. The fella was tiny so dont think he could see over the steering wheel! First thing I did was send them off to be powder coated and have been perfect ever since.
  16. GOt both my firearms and shotgun licence. Got given a gorgeous Beretta 682 gold E with 32inch barrels for my 30th. Not shot in a while due to shoulder surgery though.
  17. Nah You want to move to two wheels, you wont get spanked then Anyway, it does **** all for me, same as, same has hatch Rob Is it March yet, I cant wait to get my bike back on the road
  18. I totally agree, I have forwarded the text to Julie and will let her make the decision. I will still report this to vosa though.
  19. These are the nicest wheels I have seen on a 350/370 I would love a set.
  20. Update, I spoke with citizens advice who log this to trading standards. They advised I should be seeking a full refund and said I can try to resolve this over the phone and if I get no jy to send a recorded letter top them using a template from their site. I spoke with the mechanic, and made him fully aware we have a statement and pictures and feel we are owed a full refund. I also told him his mechanic (who turns out to be his son) offered £500 to keep quiet, he didn't know this and when asked him he denied this on the spot. After 20 mins of him complaining he broke his tool cost him £152.95 and the fact he feels he rectified the situation we left it that I was going to speak to vosa and he was going to speak with his solicitor. I could hear the stress in his voice so its obvious hes probably shitting himself at this point. This am I wake to a text:
  21. Thanks for all the advice guys, I will call them today as I wont get chance to pop in due to work. See what they say, expecting to get mugged off though
  22. I did say she should of taken the cash, I feel personally the least they could of done is exactly what you have said, refund the £180 and a new set of pads as these could be shot after what had happened. Im just glad this happened at a slow speed to be honest. I have calmed down from last night, I will have to pop in on the weekend unless they are open late.
