  1. The DE and HR. Versions are different. Was looking for HR. Thanks
  2. I'm an embedded c developer - working on SOCs targeted at the Internet of Things at the moment. Pretty good fun.
  3. Something very similiar happened to my Yellow GT4 a little over a year ago. I feel you pain, glad to hear you're ok. Replace it with a HR or 370 and you wont feel so bad .
  4. Same on my HR. It's like a little thud noise, hard to explain.
  5. Chin up dude. It's tough loving a car, the general public see a car as an appliance. Your car looks great and in the grand scheme of things - they should be an easy fix .
  6. Important to break it in first on the windows also dip it in some warm water to help soften it. Otherwise it will marr the paint. Definitely the best innovation in detailing over the last few years.
  7. I have a 350 and rather the looks of the 370.
  8. £18 for chipex inc postage to NI?
  9. Rotary polishing isn't near as safe as Dual Action. Make sure you read up correct technique before using it or you could do damage. Keep it simple if you're a beginner because it's easy to end up with holograms with a rotary. I'd go with the below, I found it a great combo for a beginner and left a good hologram free finish: SONAX Perfect Finish Polish Orange Hex Pad White Hex Pad
  10. Don't forget the Porsche Carrerra GT for ultimate V10 goodness
  11. 10k for 700hp? Seems like a bargain to me.
  12. I've a feeling you might be embarrassed by your forum signature in a few years hah.
  13. There's 350Zs in Ireland that have done 50,000+ miles on 95. We don't have super but supposedly the ethanol content brings up the rating, the pumps are still labeled at 95 though.
  14. Is it just me or does the GTR sound rubbish in that video?
  15. Thanks Cal. I'm not sure, I haven't had a chance to compare them side by side. I think the difference is quite subtle.
  16. You need a permanent NI address to do that. The police can just take the car off you otherwise. The post 2008 tax system is CO2 based and the 370Z is in the highest bracket - 2350 Euro a year. I've never seen a 370Z in person so I imagine there are none here due to the tax. This makes VAG turbo petrol cars a bargain, the Golf R is only 570 Euro tax a year. I think that might be the direction I'll be looking in for my next car.
  17. It'd be impossible to keep a 350/370 in Ireland forever so I will have to sell at some stage. I've been through 3 tax discs so far which equates to 5427 Euro! It's a killer, if the tax was under 800 Euro I would keep my current 350Z forever.
  18. Thanks Spatt. I have to say it's all down to the polishing, the wax is just the cherry on top. I've since stopped using vics and have been experimenting with more expensive waxes. The pic with the bonnet open is BMD Taurus wax- I'm quite liking it, it's a winter wax. My new favourite summer/show waxes are Definitive Wax Show Edition and Zymol Concours. There's nothing wrong with the vics waxes though, they're great.
  19. Yeah they're a must have, very easy to fit too. One of my favorite additions.
  20. First post updated with a few small items. I've had the car a year now and still loving it .
