  1. I've spent a lot of time in the gym over time, especially training for American Football which ive just had to retire from. working different parts of the body is the only way to work properly, as it will take 2-3 days for an area to recover properly after working out. If you are able to do the same work the next day you are not working any where near hard enough to optimally bulk up. With regards to diet, my option is to just try to have a reasonably healthy diet maybe just a bit more of it. One of my old trainers said once that with him it didn't matter what he ate as "it was all calories"!
  2. The other forums ive been on have been good, but I guess I must have been lucky with both the Mazda RX8 and Hyundai coupe club forums.
  3. Parked up on New barnes rd, surprisingly clean considering the crud on the roads around here. Not one ive seen before anyone on here?
  4. from what ive heard, generally it makes air flow worse, only reason to do it is to make more space under the bonnet. but who knows i may have been informed wrongly!
  5. seems you spotted me like I spotted you on Sunday!
  6. Gunmetal @ BP on A10 - had a owners club sticker in the back window so im assuming its someone from here. White 58 plate on Milton rd in cambridge just before - looked like blacked out windows, looked slick.
  7. gorgeous, suits it perfectly
  8. Not someone Ive seen around Ely before, Gunmetal 03 import. Anyone from here?
  9. For mine I had to remove the lip that sticks up behind, then its just a couple of self tapping screws the the wheel arch.
  10. About 8:40 this morning, anyone on here, Sounded lurvvvvvverrrllllyyy. I was walking, really want to know what that pipe setup was.
  11. just watch out with the KYO - it will need blending in, it fades badly in Sunlight and there are about 7 different paints that come under the KYO code as I found out trying to color code to my car
  12. very good looking work there mate
  13. Plasti-dip are buggers for that. unfortunately not got enough spare at the moment.
  14. Not a car that I've seen about locally before, anyone on here?
  15. Yesterday about 5;15 on the A10 Nr Stretham going towards Cambridge, then 4;30 today on A142 going towards Ely from Soham
  16. Just spotted a couple of pic's of our zeds on the official gallery 3 on the japfest 2 website - one of them with the "flux babes" 2 silver zeds in pic - only the front corners of mine and 2 other silvers next to me in other pic.
  17. I usually leave the last coat about time for a cup of tea, so 10 mins ish, but i usually do about 5 or 6 light coats
  18. I find its a lot easier to not tape anywhere near as close to where you are spraying, any edge will form a natural tear when you pull it away with dip, makes a much finer edge than with tape.
  19. Don't you love warnings like that, best i've see was in a hotel on business, attached to the hair dryer was "do not use in the shower"
  20. depends on what vinyl you are looking at, most of that cost is in labour as its a labour intensive process. I have priced up vinyl from 170 - 350 for doing my car, just for the vinyl.

    Falken 452 tyres

FK452 are now FK453 - well this is the version that has replaced them. I personally don't have experience of the 19 inch someone else may be able to help you with more in depth advice, edit - damn CS was a few secs ahead of me
  22. umm I havn't see the other silver import around. With this many around forum members around Ely we should sort an afternoon meet one weekend somewhere close.
  23. O and I did mean to ask did anyone else get TONNES of little spots of tar, took me FOREVER to clean / de-tar / then of course clay bar then wax the car today due to the amount to tar all over the sides. was it the site or was it one of the roads on my drive home?
  24. I have just changed over my front number plate and removed the plinth that it was on all very easily - then it came to the rear... as im putting on new plates as the old front one was badly cracked and the rear one has a garage's branding on it. The plates are a different size... so im thinking I have to remove the bracket that was holding the old plate (top pic). Then the issue is that the new plate shows the hole behind more (bottom pic), is there a simple fix for this like a facade that will fit neatly in there? I obviously want it to look nice and tidy.
