update , Tried clay bar today for the first time, WOW Cant believe the difference it made, i only did half the bonnet. Feels like polished glass. Washed and dried the car with megs car shampoo, then two goes with the clay bar and megs sloppy stuff then two goes with the DA using PB ssr2, then polished/wax with megs carnuba. very impressed, need to do the whole car now tomorrow...cant believe the difference despite all the hard work. pictures to follow tomorrow if it stops raining BTW, thanks for instilling in me the confidence to do it !!!

Agreed, i have been going for a number of years but am put off by how big its all become, too many people , i understand why its become so popular though. many people over the years have said to me that they go to FOS because it was cheaper than the GP, not sure now! the price of success i guess, i have to say as well though I've never been caught in any massive delays at all over the last 8/9yrs, always been impressed by the organisation of it all.

haha, its the whole merc sports thing and bmw z series ,apart from the top end mercs with beasty engines? now a Z is a blokes car in the first instance. best way to describe it is, there are male cars and female cars...( i feel I'm gonna regret this!)

im 57, been driving company cars for 17yrs, no car of my own till a yr ago, this yr its £340 with legal cover but a £500 excess and they gave me full ncb based on my company record.its down £100 from last yr. all in all i think its ok.
