  1. I've been once and I'm pretty certain it was ticket in advance only. At this late stage you'd only get spectator tickets anyway, the driver tickets sell out about 2 months in advance. EDIT - Whoops, realise now this was Wednesday just gone
  2. Thanks to Ewen who got some diff mounts sent out next day for me. They arrived so quickly I received the item before he had a chance to let me know he'd posted them
  3. Looks good. To finish it off, grab a bottle of 303, spray it on, weep with joy: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/interior/303-aerospace-protectant/prod_366.html
  4. I just used Gunmetal...I can't tell the difference anyway
  5. Any more details about the Fleet meet? Time, place etc?
  6. Myself, LewisH and fxn will meet you at Asda. We plan to be there just before 7 assuming a good run.
  7. Yeah 1/2 your salary is waaaay too much. It really depends on if you are saving for it or borrowing for it. If you are saving, you could potentially buy what ever you want, if you save long enough but if your borrowing, it depends on the amount, duration and interest for the repayments.
  8. I'll take a set! Stickers will come off so not bothered about the colour of them
  9. I got this kit 2 years ago for Christmas. If you find your always 'looking for the right tool' when doing a job, you need to get this. Easily takes 30% off the time to do a job when you know where the right tool is when you need it.
  10. Thank you, I'll be in touch in the new year! shire, GT4 - Mine are definitely not leaking, there just seems to be a lot of play. I assume in their current state they could be 'on their way out' and the leaking can\will start at any point?
  11. I've been to TGM for a service today, I mentioned to Tom a knocking\banging when changing gear under load and asked him to see if he could find it. He said he's checked everything at the back end and the only possible culprit is the bushes for the diff. He used a pry bar and showed me the movement and it did seem quite a lot (although I've not seen a 'good' car to compare to), his only reservation was that he said he's not had to do them on a 350z before and doesn't believe it to be a common issue. The car is a 2008 65k mile car, has anyone else had this issue and was it the diff bushes? Should I source new bushes from Nissan or would poly versions be better? As a side note - If you live in the South East, you need to be using TGM for your car servicing\mods\repairs, they are brilliant and excellent value for money!
  12. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have a look and report back.
  13. I'm trying to locate a rattle coming from the engine bay. The noise appears to come from the back of the engine if you were to be looking at it from the front of the car, where you would normally see the exhaust manifold in a 4 pot. What's back there? Anything that could come loose or need replacing with age? Thanks!
  14. It's taken me a couple of weeks to work out what the hell is creaking, initially I thought it was the seat but I've finally narrowed it down to the roof lining, somewhere around the front middle area. Those of you who have removed one, any ideas as to what could be causing it?
  15. I saw this and went to check mine as I was certain mine are already a snug fit and sure enough they are (without spacers). I'm tempted to try 15/20's now but then I think I'd need tyres with a 'flatter' wall.
  16. I get a solid 19mpg on my commute. 15 miles each way some town driving with light traffic some twisty bits that are normally clear. As someone else pointed out, use 20mpg as an average and you wont ever be far out.
  17. Didn't catch any distinguishing features as it was dark, think it was Silver heading away from Mytchett.
  18. Parked next to a black Zed with a Nismo spoiler in Guildford yesterday, anyone here?
  19. Good to know. They could do with a refurb but no point making them worse, the lip is currently the better part of the wheels.
  20. Is that the light blue one? If it is, that's what I've used for as long as I can remember. Great stuff!
  21. I've been using Bilberry on mine, might have to go back and check that it's safe now!
  22. Haha. It wasn't me but to be fair they ONLY sell 95 which is BS. I've had to make 'emergency' stops there a couple of times until I can get to somewhere with 98.
  23. I can only mirror what everyone else has said in that the main thing is that no one was hurt which I'm very glad about. What scares me about this thread (and another on this forum that I have read today) is how easily this appears to happen. I've had the zed for just under 2 months, my first RWD car and my first very powerful car. When I think about my route to and from work (narrow, windy, hilly roads lined with trees), something like this would almost certainly result in a very nasty accident. I've had a 'wiggle' twice so far, both whilst going in a straight line, both resulted in the TC doing it's job and reminding me what I'm driving. I'm already a cautious and careful driver, but the amount of people reporting driving normally 'and just loosing it' is rather worrying. Any tips from those of you with more RWD experience?
  24. Can you find out what this is please?
