  1. Silver 350 behind me this morning through Farnborough and on to Pirbright. Blinked my hazards and got a flash!
  2. I'm currently waiting for the Nexus 5, hopefully that'll work
  3. Hmm the convoy of 3 might have been us, sure it was midnight and not azure? Can't remember what we were doing on the 28th!
  4. I've tried my HTC which is Android 4.2, iPhone on iOS6 and Windows phone on the latest version. Only my Android doesn't work which is my phone. I'm certain this is an Android problem rather than Nissan. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 4
  5. Hello Rob...starting to think you're stalking me!
  6. In the owners manual it says you can use 95 ron as a stop gap until you can fill up with good stuff.
  7. Another +3 for the megs (me, Lewish & fxn). Been using it for nearly 10 years, not found anything better and have tried plenty.
  8. I want to replace my burgers, but can't decide between chrome or satin: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1e80188d7e At the moment I'm thinking chrome, but if you have a GM with satin, I'd love to see a photo! Ideally similar angle to this: http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b455/ATTAK-Z/100618/IMG_0052.jpg?t=1276900281 Thanks.
  9. Thanks Alex, that's pretty much what I was thinking. Once I've checked the rears I will be in touch for the bolts. Thanks for the tip!
  10. This little saga continues, I decided to put this here rather than start a new thread. I've done the front so far, with new Pagid discs and yellow stuff pads. It looks like the discs were EBC and the pads were Ferodo, not sure which type. Unfortunately whoever fitted the previous discs cross threaded the bottom bolts on both the front calipers. I haven't checked the rears yet but hoping these aren't the same. I'm going to get a tap and new bolts and attempt to fix the caliper (my tap and die set doesn't have a tap big enough) but if this doesn't work, would I be better off tapping a bigger thread and getting bigger bolts or would a helicoil be ok? I've not used helicoils before, so I'm not sure if they are strong enough for this application.
  11. Cars are generally better if they are used regularly. Regular use keeps the fluids moving and stops premature wear on rubber parts. Leaving a car stood for a few weeks at a time isn't really an issue but you should think about a trickle charger for the battery. You'll also need to check the fluids before you use it, oil levels, coolant levels, brake fluid levels. However this should all be part of a regular maintenance routine anyway. Personally I would also attempt to leave it with little fuel in the tank so that it gets a fresh tank when you next want to use it.
  12. Another quick question, which I haven't been able to find an answer to on the forum. Is it possible to check the inside rear pads without removing the dust guard? I checked the fronts fine after taking a wheel off but the rear dust guard makes it impossible. Do I need to take the pads out to check them?
  13. If it's a Corrado G60...it doesn't have 4 doors....
  14. Top service last night bud, thanks for your help!
  15. I don't think the car has been tracked, I'll be inspecting further tomorrow when I can get the wheels off to try and identify the discs and pads, will also check they are the right way around. I've only had the car a week and I have no idea if the previous owner was a heavy braker or not. The paper work only says the pads were replaced last year and that they were supplied by the customer.
  16. Hi all, I just picked up my car last week, so far very happy indeed. I have just ordered new pads as mine are getting low and starting to make some funny noises. I'm just wondering if the 10k miles the current pads have done is normal? I've not had a real performance car before but 10k seems a bit low. The discs are grooved which I suspect has shortened the pad life. What do you think?
  17. Someone else has already pointed out the Nexus 4 doesn't work, all N4's should have 4.3. I wouldn't hold your breath for 4.3 being the answer I'm afraid.
  18. Thanks for the info folks, I might order some trial pots and give this stuff a go.
  19. The way I see it, there's two ways to steal a Zed: Steal the keys. or On a flat bed. You can do plenty to avoid the first, nothing to really avoid the second. No point in adding anything IMO.
  20. I've been using Dodo Juice blue velvet on my last two cars (one was blue, the other black), now looking for a sealant for my Twilight Grey zed as I've heard sealants are better for light coloured cars. I'm looking for something that gives a nice wet look, which is hard enough on light cars anyway. What are you using? Pictures welcome!
  21. I'd be interested to know which dealer it was. I spoke to a few dealers over the last couple of months one of which was selling a car with the mileage yours has got. Sorry to hear about your troubles bud! Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 4
  22. Thanks everyone, very pleased. Currently experiencing "new car syndrome" where I'm convinved everyone is out to get me and no one has seen me. I'm a nervous wreck! It takes time to find the right car. I'd say, had this car had the standard Rays, I'd probably not have bought it as the mileage was slightly higher than I wanted. Knowing that I wanted different wheels and that the Nismos are rather lovely, I decided to go for it, can't say I've regretted it for a second so far!
