  1. Have you considered going down the LPG conversion route ( please don't hurt me ) my mates last two RR have been LPG conversion and he swears by them . On another note a friend has just purchased a 2013 autobiography edition now that looks a wee bit special especially the interior trim.
  2. I thought we were all forum members and not just randoms but least i know where i stand being a new member Also thoughtt it was a for sale section and not an auction . Feel a little disappointed with the " I'd much rather sell to you remark " TBH as that just harks to PMs between mates even if some " random " has got there first .
  3. Hmm interesting think the gloss black would look great on my azure really got to get a front lip first though .
  4. agree where is the fun if you haven't done it yourself
  5. And how would you like a brain surgeons building your house or an electricians rebuilding your engine A massage therapist flying you off on holiday You seem to be of an opinion that if you have a degree in something then you can do anything even though they are specific skill sets for the job in hand. All take hard work but do you see that a bricklayer, electrician or plumbers need letters after there names ?
  6. small.steps one thing we.almost agree on Example i have a friend ( hard to believe yes )has his own software company ( bluesource ) if if no one believes me very successful . But a SMD put it best no common sense poor bloke can't decorate , clean a car or even put up crimbo decs. You could say hey ho he got the money to get someone to do it for him but his just brain power and no imagination . This is where academic qualifications and experience on a subject is a fine line between being able to achieve something and reading it in a book . Im trying not to be to downbeat on learning ( new skills that is )
  7. Well first I'd try reading my post as i said " intellect doesn't equal intelligence " Academic qualifications are not a measure of an individuals intelligence. How many historians can wire a plug or how many electricians can teach history as its selective. You have experience in your profession which equals intelligence to that specific task as have i but i dont class myself as intelligent just i know my job. "simples" Please don"t take offence as its just my opinion. I would like to add though whats the most used letters you see after a name ? RGT HON and how many politicians can really have that after there name And you did post your ignorance that that humping bricks is no measure to getting a degree but fail to realise that both need intelligence .also one that has one can't do the others job.
  8. I was looking for.a GM all the way up till i got an Azure but this is why the GM comes up so well with the right mods looking mate
  9. i might be wrong but i think what Dblock was expressing is that intellect doesn't equal intelligence ( he will let me know if I'm wrong )You can study for and pass your masters phD ETC in any given subject but that doesn't equate to intelligence . Anyone from high to low can learn from experience in the real world , Take this 350z forum for example not everyone on here has a degree but we all seek out help from people with experience and that is something which in most cases can't be taught it is gained. So in theory someone who humps bricks for a living or someone with a phD could answer a question about my Z and both worked hard for what they have. you might not have a willy but your still waving
  10. Great thread this gets my vote for a perfect match that matt really makes the gloss black pop great pictures also
  11. A.great deal of intellectuals I've met over the years I've found to be the thickest when it come to the real world . Visa versa I've found the dumbest people I've met to be the most smart in the real world . there's always a trade of in anything in life , I've always had the "average " sticker from school to now and it suits me fine . The average will inherit the earth we are quiet but have huge numbers .
  12. Don't think it was me but there is another local azzure ive spotted twice on the A20 between Larkfield and Ditton. I'm about a minute away from Tesco never know you might spot me tomorrow as i,ll be heading off to West Peckham at around 10.30.
  13. As always though seems a few are just an observation as its is crap drives cars not crap drivers and not a this car is better than yours topic.
  14. TBH I could go on an on about cars I think are crap because they are damn ugly or boring as hell but think this thread would be better titled this car is crap because ive driven it and it really is crap. There seem to be more posts of the people who drive certain cars rather than the cars themselves .
  15. You got a wee piccy of this mate APR CF that is.
  16. Hi all after looking and searching around I'm liking the look of the Stillen front splitter for my Z I've fitted a black Zunsport grille and have a carbon front lip cover arriving soon. I think the stillen will sit below them just right and I'm not going for a really low front end . So just a couple of questions for you peeps out there. Is this an easy fitment to tge OEM bumper ? I would like this to match the carbon lip so what would be the best route for this ? Wrapped or dipped ? Anyone got one they dont have use for ? Lol thats a stretch but worth a try. Any pics out there on an azure with the lil in black or carbon would be helpful. Pleas excuse my ignorance before answering as ive no idear whatsoever on the carbon front.
  17. Oh well worth a try but at least you now know there is a few interested when tou can get a few in stock.
  18. I had a black 2.0 sport many moons ago went through three clutches in it and the drivers door used to fall right off its hinges when I opened it sometimes. And I had great fun with it for about four years I traded mine in for the pug GTI but ive always liked those big bonnets out in front.
  19. When I was deciding which car to buy next my choices were the 3.2 TT , Boxter , R32 or 350z. I was lucky ithe fact that two of my mates at work one owning a 2.8 boxter and the other a 2.0 TT let me have a test drive. The boxter is a much better drive than the 350z TBH but I chose the Z because I see fewer on the road. Still maintain that BMWs are over rated though having owned one and had one as a company car .
  20. Not to be taken serious and to take it away from the dark side " This car is crap because...." lets have some positive posts on cars. So name a car you like simple as Well me first and two cars I've owned and had bags of fun with. Pug 205 1.9 GTI this was my first venture into modding cars and was a great lil hot hatch for its time. Scooby WRX STI PPP 03 Blobeye the best looking of the scoobs and what a sound from that flat four only a V8 could sound nicer. just my opinion guys have fun play nice now .
  21. You do realise that a boxster would whoop your car round a track and road? Also I'm 99.9% sure they limit the power boxster and caymans get. You give a boxster/cayman the same engine as a 911 and it would whoop that too. Proper porsche? mr driving a cheapy nissan who think he is top dog lol. And i hope you do realise that the OP question was" This car is crap because..." not " what car is better and why..."
  22. Being smaller than average is also a big help, Most of the all time greats have been small...Fangio, Senna, Prost, Moss, Stewart, Surtees, Alonso, Villenueve all very small guys. Only one driver over 6 foot tall has ever won the championship (Hunt) and only 2 others over 5-11" (Damon Hill and Button) . You also need very good eye sight, as far as I can remember only 3 F1 drivers have worn glasses. Pete Don't follow it that close to know those stats but it makes sense but it's that lack of fear in them all that gets me . Still if your driving someone's else's car and not your own why not . i expect thats why i don't do track day's
  23. Not doing it for me as i prefer blacked out rays but it does suit the look your going for . Put up a few close ups shots though must admit the black centre caps really pops from these.
  24. This might of been said already as didn't look back through all the posts so what make a good race driver . Well first thing is that all race drivers don't seem to suffer from that " What if " mentally that we do. Second would be reaction time the best seem to have in F1 for example everything going on inside and outside the cockpit. Third and most important that inherent skill that's already there from day one practice make perfect but you need that spark of skill. When you see top race drivers interviewed they can come across as almost arrogant but that is just self belief and confidence in there abilities.
