Disagree, it's been like that for years. £200 is naff all when running a performance car. Agree to disagree as some like myself like to have the performance but have to work on a budget . The main reason i chose the Zed TBH cheap and cheerful performance with realiability. Otherwise I'd be in a 06 to 08 RS4 right now. Had a March 06, RS4 - great car and cheap roadtax....best of both worlds. No more expensive to run that Z......apart from the additional 16k to buy. Was.out of my budget at the time even though i took a couple for test drives March 06 is a rare beasty and they are great fun . Apart from i had the dealer next.to me Was yours the saloon.?

If you've written a post on here expressing your doubts then you should walk away there are plenty of Zeds out there to look at .

Do a search on here as you won't find any substantial gains with bolt ons without and uprev then only looking at 15 to 20 bhp gains unless you go down the FI route. your best bet is an 03 to 05 scoob for speed and kick in the back in the same price range without to many mods if you can find a PPP.

I spent all my time looking at blades and GMs and went for an azure . Clean looking Z mate enjoy ( get a stubby )

hing for you would be to have a good few tests drives in each as you have a decent budget to be able to choose what model you decide on. I had quite a few test drives before i picked mine with an 8k budget looking for 03 to 05 . Even with my limited choices it came down to what it always does " the car felt just right to me " . And believe me some i drove we're dogs as the engine and gearbox felt as though they were in different postcodes.

Great engineering but so does the GTR at a fraction of the price and going on looks it would be the 458 for me preferably a spider . Or maybe a merc SLS or i could have both if i spent a wee bit more

I can see a tipping point coming soon with this current car tax structure where high performance cars pre 06 will fetch a higher premium because of the lower tax on them. What is it £270 pre 06 and £475 after ? the tax man gets enough out of me already so i keep sticking for cars up to 05.

Got me worried now I'll have to take a look at mine tomorrow 59k and cant find any thing in the service history that they have been changed.

Think watches have now become a fashion accessory item rather than a useful item for men or women . The last watch i wore for two weeks straight was a water proof one i could wear on the beach and not worry about. Lets face it our phones do everything we want still saying that when out shopping I'm always a sucker for a great looking watch

I'd really like an LPG, but at £2k to get fitted that's a big investment on a 100k plus car, and would take me 2 or 3 years to get it to pay for itself. In terms of buying an already LPG'd car, these seem to be £1500 dearer and i'd always be nervous about it. TBH its not something I've ever looked into but I'll have a word with my workmate as he has never had a motor converted to LPG but knows what to look for when buying a car that has.What I'm saying is one that's done correctly to spec.

We are all odd that way as i have about ten watches and never wear them not heard of Pebble but after a search i could see it as something i would buy and never use . Didn't actually think this was the real world but I'm an old git if i sell to a mate i text/PM/ email or talk to him personally. If i sell on buy in an open forum i expect first come first served .
