Got my Z and she drives great thanks Greg for making me wait while it was being detailed cant remember your fellas name but great job watching him work.i think Trade links detailer will be putting some pics up on the forum as he took a few top job guys really pleased. Now for the embarrassing part of my trip home while I was getting some petrol.First off pulled up on tge wromg side of the pump and then took five minutes looking for the filler cap release. And then it got even worse as she wouldnt start after I'd payed so onto the phone and onto here for a search ten minutes later depress the clutch you idiot . Was my face red or what and so were the people behined me but I think that was anger.DOH.

We went with the same local company that built our conservatory but the point of the post was just how bad Safestyle were and the aggressive tactics that they employ.I had no problems at all with the rest of my quotes or the salesmen but these guys are something I thought was a thing of the past.

Pick up my Z tomorrow morning its a 05 in gunmet whoops its a 05 azure blue 59k with nismo exhaust and 19"LMGT4s . Regularly serviced at CS and supplied by Trade Link . Thanks to both of you for all the help Greg for answering all my questions and CS for the background history.Also all of you on here as it's a great source of information for a new Z owner . Oh and thanks Tarmac for pop charger and stubby as they both turned up today first two mods sorted and tge weather looks good for Sunday .

Oh and take out little trinkets such as crayons travel soaps shampoo etc have a look on trip advisor for examples and lay on the bed for the maids the people are poor and appreciate it and will decorate your room out special and even leave you a nice thank you . And you get a well stocked fridge . Tip the waiter at your bar and never have to get up from your seat trust me its worth it and it a pittance but not for them.

Havana trip is good coco cabana great night out and explore the old city as the markets are great fun got my humordor from there . Just bring me back some Cohibas lol. I will try to put some pics up if I can work out how to .

When I told him I had quotes and would be getting more he said really ? I would never do it that way but always go for the best company. At that point I said to him wow you car and house insurance must be sky high then if you dont shop around. Thats different I was told and I think that's when he realised that no sale was to be made. Be watchful of these guys as a good company should always give you there best qoate on a product. I had a phone call from them at head office a couple of days later to ask about how it went . I ripped into them good and proper up to the point that they hung up on me .

Over the last two weeks we have been getting quotes for Windows + a door for the house and like anyone we got multiple quotes. All were really helpful and not pushy and gave a quote and left details if we wanted to go ahead . My last quote was with safestyle you know BOGOF and that was the first bit of false advertising as only the cheap windows have this offer ( cheap yeah we'll get to that later) . First off I know UPVC well as I have manufactured it in the past and a large number of these companies are owned by the Latium group and the proccess and formulations for their products are the same whatever they tell you . Anyway this is more about the aggressive sales of Safestyle as there quote came in at 2k more for the A rated and 1k more for the cheap ones !!! . Now in the sales pitch he told me that the only windows as good as theres were Anglian and Everest but as theres would be twice the price so when I told him he was 2k out on my best quote I had him. As my best quote was Anglian what could he do ( guess what ) on the phone and then quoted £100 cheaper than but only while he was there at which point I told him to BOGOF. When I told him I wasn't going to commit there and then he just left not giving me any paperwork or even a conttact number. Cant stand this hard sell tactic .

You will enjoy it I went to varadero a few years back mainly to do the Havana two day excursion as its only two hours away more or less.It was heaven for me sun, sea, rum and those lovely Cohibas .if you can get to do a speed boat trip its a blast in your own little two seater through the mangroves and then our guide took us out further to watch the dolphins right beside our boat . Food wise it can get a little tired but I love pork and fish so ok by me and the biggest plus point is that Americans cant travel . And the Canadians that can are the politest people I've met.

Hi all had a search through here but cant find what I'm looking for . Can anybody recommend a decent place for wrapping in Kent nr Maidstone I've tried a local on line quote but not had a response yet.I'm looking to get my azure roof wrapped in gloss black . What sort of price range should i be looking for this ? Before anyone tells me DIY I've never attempted wrapping before and do not have the experience or garage facilities to take it on I'm afraid. If however someone in my area is well up on this and willing to give me a hand it would be appreciated and give me a chance to have a gander at another members zed. Any help would be useful thanks Ray

yeah don't mind that one bit and its about time as the last great looking scoob was the 03/05 blob STI ( bit bias as i owned one ). For me they went the wrong way after that toning it down as it was never meant to be a toned down car.Not every ones cup of tea on here but they do put a big grin on your face every time you drive one and that is what a car should do. I've owned two scoobs over a ten year period but as I'm an old git now i went for a car that has comfort , refinement and smooth power a real GT all the things a scoob is not.

I may pop up and have a look at the zeds you have in Stock in the hope you'll do a great deal for a member.

Had a look at a few on here but really want to trade in mine so not looking at private sales sorry.

Hmm judging by the lack of responce I guess not from looking at tbe pictures the wheels need changing or refurbished. Also the exhaust looks a little dodgy .

Hi all names Ray and im in the process of looking for a 350z 03 to 05 ( tax ) in the gun metal grey as the first thing id do would be to black crome the alloys for it. Ive had a look at this forum for a couple of weeks and liking the sound from the K1 with a JWT pop charger. For a bit of history my last three cars have been a 1996 scooby wrx classic JDM. BMW M3 that lasted six months as I hated it . Then back to a 03 scooby PPP uprated to 336 BHP full decat and incredibly loud as I like them. Due to a change in work had to sell it and buy a fiesta st ( which I hate with a passion ) as I see my old scoob every day because I sold it to a mate at work ( never do this ). Ive always loved the look of the 350z so im just looking for the right one for me . Any help on what to look for fault wise would be appreciated but from preliminary searches they seem pretty bullit proof especially that V6 as all I hear is smooth. Hhanks Ray
