Bit of a thread revivals...got the exact same problem as th OP When braking hard i.e coming to a stop at the junction, it seems the ABS is trying to kick in. Vibration through the pedal. Spoken to a couple of mechanic friends who have recommended cleaning the ABS sensors. Also ABS ring could be the culprit. Just don't like the noise! Sounds like air in the system! Job for the weekend!

Pagid pads and discs I have on my Zed as well. Like you, don't do any track days, everyday use & general B road driving. Changed them over a year ago and no issues.

I passed a GM over the Easter Holz, think it was the Bank Holiday Monday. Passed on the road towards Llansteffan (Llangain). Gentleman with dark hair driving! Did post earlier in the month but doesn't seem to be anybody from here!

Cracking race again. Rossi seems to be getting the best out of the machine. Ducati doing a solid job as well. There's no doubting Marquez talent, but totally agree, should have known he was fighting a lost cause against Rossi and settled for 2nd with his tyres gone. Cracking result for Crutchlow as well!

Apologise, Don't mean to hijack the thread! Quick question...does the standard OEM Y pipe fit with most aftermarket exhausts? (Scorpion, Cobra etc) Thanks

On a previous car I bought, the car had Goodyear F1 Eagles with plenty of tread, but experienced the same problem (at similar speed). Balanced the wheels but made no difference. The tyre fitter then removed the tyres, several repairs had been done to the tyre by the previous owner. After swapping the tyres, the juddering was gone.

The Zed went for an MOT today with a couple of advisories, Front tyres worn on the inside, Rubbefrsuspension bush deteriorated but not excessive. Another advisory was that the front exhaust system has deteriorated. Having looked underneath the car & not having a chance to talk to the MOT tester, it seems there are some 'holes' to the casing of the Cats. Been doing some research to get some new CATS (money is tight this month), but it seems the OEM CATS seem to be more expensive (used) than sports/high flow CATS. Can anybody shed some light on why this is? When ££ allows, was thinking of changing from the 'Y' pipe back with a Cobra resonated system, but seems this will have to wait now. What would be thegoing rate on OEM ones compared to High flo? Don't want DECATS tbh. Thanks, Iwan
