The Zed went for an MOT today with a couple of advisories,
Front tyres worn on the inside, Rubbefrsuspension bush deteriorated but not excessive.
Another advisory was that the front exhaust system has deteriorated. Having looked underneath the car & not having a chance to talk to the MOT tester, it seems there are some 'holes' to the casing of the Cats. Been doing some research to get some new CATS (money is tight this month), but it seems the OEM CATS seem to be more expensive (used) than sports/high flow CATS.
Can anybody shed some light on why this is? When ££ allows, was thinking of changing from the 'Y' pipe back with a Cobra resonated system, but seems this will have to wait now. What would be thegoing rate on OEM ones compared to High flo? Don't want DECATS tbh.
Thanks,
Iwan
