I Can play videos off my phone and they display etc. Have you tried selecting the app on your phone, opening, started playing the music, then selecting the App icon on the head unit? My apps don't show up on the headunit, but I can still play music via them. Sorry it's not much help.

For £170 it's going to be a bitch to fit. If you're not going to use it, why not just get a load of these?

Don't know if this is much help Just changed the colour of mine to be more Tempter, This is mine with Gunmetal (I think) Rays, loved the colour with Sunset. So a darker shade would be my preference. You've got a nice vibrant coloured car, have something soft and subtle to compliment it i.e. a darker tone/shade.
