  1. Mines there just as a comparison to show you how much louder Ian's is....except the video didn't quite capture it right
  2. We were in Whitley, Trust me, yours will also sound like an electrical car next to his So camera does not do it justice.
  3. Mouthwash recently had a Agency Power single exit installed on his car, along with a retune, pushing out almost 500 ponies! So we figured this was an excuse to go on a drive and take some snaps and video's. Again, I'm no professional when it comes to taking photo's, and this time I couldn't be bothered to adjust the brightness etc in photoshop But feel like most these came out okay **Video uploading now, will add to thread shortly** But my god his exhaust is f**king insane!!!!! So loud! Makes my car sound like a hybrid! It's just pure amazing, the video's really don't capture it very well. Dat poke! Cosmis Friends Still getting used to this camera, go easy on me
  4. Wait so you put the car in your signature before purchasing?
  5. Just FYI peeps, if there is any confusion.....I'm not actually Batman Or am I
  6. Well there is a 2 week lead time on the Coils but by the looks of it they may be here next week :O So possibly the following weekend. It's nice to be back on track again after the massive set back To be honest I completely forgot about he Miester. At the same time though, I'd rather just pay my items off as soon as I can, other wise I will run my self in some serious debt So the BC's were a good price, with some pretty good reviews, especially over in america (Although heard some bad storys of the full true coilovers ) Not sure how low you have to go, but I had an advisory on the MOT of my drop links needed replacing soon. So figured may as well pay a little extra and get Adjustable to avoid any issues/faffing around down the line.
  7. They were going to be my next choice as they are damn good for the money.
  8. There's no 'Cheap' Insurance company I'm afraid Whats good for one is crap for another person You just need to ring around. Main factor will be Your Age/Years of license and Postcode. Good luck.
  9. Ian's do. should be pretty similar to this. Haha good!! The BC's look like a great choice, will definitely transform your car. Was a tough call, wanted something Sub £1k. Ruled out BC's at first due to being True Coilovers, Then went for Tein Coils, but they didn't have adjustable dampeners :/ Which seemed silly for the price of them. Then looked at Tanabe, wasn't really fussed. Then Matt said BC's do have separate springs. So had to do some digging And then we arrived here
  10. Ian's do. should be pretty similar to this.
  11. Ya done mate, you're evicted from them!
  12. Little update So it's time to finally leave the Monster Truck club and sort out my suspension Just ordered Some BC Racing BR series coilovers - http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350z_BC_Racing_BR_Series_Coilovers_/BR-D-17-RS_.aspx After doing a bit of research, picking coilovers wasn't easy as I thought But eventually after speaking with BC I found out they did make a set that have a separate Dampening/Spring on the rear. So these are not True coilovers (Like the image suggests ) Main reason was after speaking to a few people, the difference in drive was minimal, and having true coils would involve strengthening the rear Top mount to cope with the additional load on a single place. Along with the Coilovers I'll be fitting and testing some new Cusco Anti Roll Bars To go with the Coils and ARB's along with keeping the MOT guy happy, I've got some White line Adjustable Drop links coming. And to finish it off, I've got some drift works front and rear camber arms on the way This should hopefully transform the ride a bit Fear not, I won't be scrubbing the ground on 90* angled wheels Just looking to reduce the 4x4 arch gap Looking forward to this all arriving. Should be all installed by the start of March.
  13. To be fair, it should be when he tries to take his wheels off
  14. One day you will have a fully working SC zed
  15. Pretty sure 1st 2nd 3rd are restricted. Something like 70/80/90% you're not getting the full power band out of the them. #teamtarmac

    Tyre Stretch

He's on a et8 thought. Exactly same setup at as me and mouthwash. 275 will work once lowered and cambered. #teamtarmac
  17. They don't Honestly, if you're looking at beating a VXR or other hot hatches, find a different car :/ or be prepared to throw £10k down top of it to SC it.
  18. This threads only going to end in one direction
  19. Can I ask what your end goal is for this? As you say it's used as a daily to get you to work? Any specific reasons for getting it under 6 seconds?
  20. Mission seem like a fancy jap place, but honestly for that work, you will probably find it cheaper at any indi garage. Just see what quote they give you. Although could you not just ask for the quote over the phone? As I can see what will happen is, you take your car there and just agree on the quote and get it done
  21. I'm guessing its just down to being collection preferred. Beautiful piece of kit though. but its for an awesome piece of z kit! i wouldn't mind driving anywhere if it was for a mod like that. But at the same time, you still need to appeal to the right market. I.e. this isn't a mod for your usual Stubby/spacer group. It's like, if some awesomely cheap speakers came up for sale, no point buying them if you don't listen to music etc.

    my NANKANG's

Love my Nankangs I don't get how people 'lose control/spin out' etc. As Docwra said, they are hairy in the wet, quite easy to spin up. But i've never non intentionally had the back end come out... These were on round Silverstone, no problems there. Guess it's all about knowing your boundaries
