  1. Me too. Love this stuff after Waxybox switched me on to it. I give her a very light pressure wash first to shift any sizeable surface contaminets, quick dry, bang this on. Simples. http://www.angelwax.co.uk/?wpsc-product=qed
  2. It'd be a good start, still waiting on their first decent one... What about Iron Man? Avengers Assemble? X-Men first class? Thor? TBF I liked Iron Man, the rest did nothing for me especially Avengers Assemble. Gang of invincible people had to stop some baddie, there's no jeopardy with an undefeatable line up like that, they couldn't lose, took away from the drama of it for me. I enjoyed the opening sequence with SJ...
  3. I don't understand why the tyres are mandated. If it's one of these cost cutting measures, just introduce an overall budget cap and send the teams off. I preferred the good old days when they bought tyres from the supplier they wanted, refuelled when they wanted, then all the manufacturers in the chain (tyres, engine, chasis, etc) are trying to push the limits of performance - which is the whole point of F1. This half-hearted, "you must use this bit and you can't develop your own, change this every 4 races" is totally against the spirit of innovation in F1 IMHO. Yes there must be regs like engine size and aero rules. If you want close individual racing, give everyone the same car. If you want a proper team sport, let them run with a budget. Also the overtake buttons that have been installed, it's practically impossible to defend a position. They should only work when the cars are OVER a second apart, bringing them closer together to race, not to allow drivers to simply breeze past when they've already caught up. I'm not a Red Bull fan, but it seems the whole rule book is designed to slow them down, which is a fundamentally rubbish way to run a sport.

  5. I'm in denial. E-friends are just as valid as real ones.
  6. When I was a youth, we went karting most weekends and got friendly with the marshals after a while. Usually when it rained on the outdoor track they closed it down, but as they knew we weren't bellends they'd let us go out. They were only little twin engine beasts but in Scottish rain, with slick, cold tyres, I learned for the first time that the wet makes a big difference! Had twice as much fun at half the speed. It was quite a good lesson as my driving instructor at 17 never really talked about it in all the hours of learning. The wet still cares me though, not cos of the Zed or it's tyres, but because I see so many people not make a single allowance in their driving style, whether it's bone dry A road or standing water on the motorway with 50 foot visibility!
  7. Ferraris were designed for the homersexual male, they are too high pitched, they break down at the smallest thing, and they like big powerful things in the rear The California is beautiful. If that makes me a homo, then I can live with that. I'm not taking though...
  8. It'd be a bastard to keep clean, but with all those angles the radar signature is probably low enough to go through speed traps undetected! Not pretty. All they had to do was keep updating the Diablo...

    My First Mod

My name is Stu, the tax disc holder is how I got hooked too. I've been on "it" only 3 months now. It starts off cheap, or maybe even free, just a small amount here and there, I told myself I could give up at any time. Then you notice the gear shift gaiter is a bit worn, so is the gear knob actually, the plastic trim has some scratches too, the front grille is a bit tired... Now I'm all, "That front lip is nice, I'd need it colour matched mind, also, but it'd look odd on its own, better draw up a list..."

This was from last year I think, aka the ' Predator ' WOW "The jungle...it just came alive and took him" Incredible work.
  11. I'm a total mechanical spanner (not in a good way) took me about 5 minutes to get out with zero damage to adjoining bits. I plastidipped mine after a clean, no good, finish isn't robust enough. Black satin next time. As others have said, I was well pleased with myself when I did just this little tiny job. I'm hoping its the first step to learning more and having a more personal touch to my car. I chopped up my speaker grilles shortly after, pleased with that too. If you give it a try and it goes bad, you can still buy another, assuming you don't destroy the door! GL. +1 on trim removers, much better than improvising and dirt cheap, useful for all sorts. 12. I like the look of your nuts BBK, how tight are they? I've got a torque wrench but no clue what to set it to?
  13. Lower than a snakes b0((0cks. Is there nothing corrosive to skin you can paint them in, then just wear gloves when you check pressures?
  14. Nah, not really. Most people have gone for 3x exclusive hardcore two seaters, which means that either two aren't going to get used because they'll have a favourite or they'll be getting lifts everywhere because they've got three cars that can't even handle the run to Tesco and back Tesco do delivery and if money no object would you shop there Money no object I'd probably shun Tesco and have a crack team of highly trained and intelligent early twenties cheerleaders (all wearing quasi-futuristic semi-revealing outfits designed by Pininfarina) handworking the land of my Colombian estate to provide the finest wines, organic meats and fresh veg known to man. All marshalled by Monica Bellucci dressed daily in towering heels, a fresh new simple black pencil skirt and a loosely tied fine white silk blouse, driving an early Lamborghini tractor barking at them in Italian.
  15. He hasn't managed English in 28 years...
  16. Ha! I was considering that one the other day, great minds and all that! I finally decided I'd prefer one that "hides" the age of my Zed as I think it's style and condition belies it's years.
  17. +1 on the supers, got mine at the weekend, well pleased. £732 for all 4 on, don't know if that's a great price but I'm beacoup happy.
  18. Whilst I understand some of your feelings. I would also like to disagree with your deepest pocket idea. Premiership big spenders to buy titles will only get you so far before you need a quality manager to create a dynasty. Chelsea over a billion to date spent 3 titles, never 3 on the trot. Man city £930,000,000 1 title. Mmmmm. Lets think about that one!!! Man U not even close £430,000,000. 13 titles. Yes some players didn't make the grade, but they were given a chance on the biggest stage. They didn't make it elsewhere either, although Forlan did quite well. This Manager deserves respect. I remember the famous quote from a so called hack "You'll never win anything with kids" arguably the best team of the ones SAF build and in real terms, cost next to nothing and they took the league apart with entertaining, attacking football. If you want to know who spent the most cash? Blackburn one point 3 billion. 1 Title and the bankruptcy of their backers. Case rested. Fair point, and I agree, but what I was driving at is they were the big spenders pre-Abramovich when most of the titles rolled in, they were thinner on the ground when the money was elsewhere. He did have a golden generation too, how much of that was him and not thier youth scouts I personally don't know. Hansen talks a lot, says not much, and what he does say is usually golf club chit chat with Lineker, he makes Gary Neville seem like Brian Clough.
