I got mine from these guys http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/coupe-3-years-2003-to-2009-wiper-blades/ There were 2x 18" and 1x 20" - can't remember if the 20" was the rear or one of the fronts though. I think their website tells you IIRC.

I think the Bosch aeros that have look cool and futuristic and, almost as importantly , they shift water pretty well too

It's quite a common "issue" with the Zed, but it's strange to occur immediately after a service if it hasn't ever manifest before. I'd suggest getting in touch with the garage as a first step to see what they'd suggest.

You sure there's no chance of speaker wiring fault/short? Might be worth getting a multimeter on it
-
Yeah mine idles just short of that from cold, drops off after a couple of minutes.

Cheers gang, my old man's pretty TO'd at the minute, it's been at the end of a few other dramas of late and he's screwing that his insurer insist it comes under accidental damage and therefore his voluntary excess kicks in too. If I'm perfectly honest, I was hugely relieved my Zed was round the back for a change, instead of in his space.

Generally speaking, in terms of the options I've seen here, you can get them re-painted, powdercoated or hydro dipped. I'm sure you'll have myriad custom choices stateside and much more competitive pricing. Even in the little old UK the prices can vary quite a bit, just from area to area, I was quoted anything from £70 to powdercoat, up to £150 for multi stage paint job, per wheel, so geography and finish will have a huge impact on price. You seem like a handy sort of chap and I'm sure I saw a how to/guide on DIY refurbishing wheels, but I can't find it! Might be worth a trawl through the guides and wheels sections, if you're feeling it's something you might take on yourself. Good luck mate!

Dang it! The best suggestion I've seen is to buy a formula silver centre cap from an official dealer, then find yourself a @*!# hot paint match guy.

I wanted this for my Rays, it's the only thing the internet doesn't know.

Great result mate. Another fine job by the Zed Shed. P.S. With a thread title like this I still can't believe SMD hasn't posted in here yet...

That looks well that mate, fills the space much better than mine.

New 60 MPH Motorway Speed Limits to be Introduced.
Stutopia replied to WhackyWill's topic in Off Topic Discussion
The battery thing should be simples. Just make them universal across all makes and model and then when you stop at the "petrol station" they pop your old ones out and your new ones in. 5 minute job. -
along, good to see another NW member. Great Zed http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/75-north-west/

If they want to ease congestion and improve air quality, they should spend some money on train tracks and trains, then shift a load of freight on to the rail network. Half-arsed ideas like this don't provide any alternatives, just punishment for road users. The problems don't go away by taxing people or changing limits, they need to give people a sensible, punctual, properly priced alternative to driving and they'll find the people who don't really enjoy driving will soon shift off the roads. Bit more carrot and a bit less stick. -
Mine's gunmetal (not miles off silver) and I went for red. Just the other day though I had to have a short length of blue hose installed to replace a hose. Now I'm certain that blue is a better colour than red IMHO, so certain I'm thinking of ripping out all my red!

Don't summit do a whole load of bracing upgrades for under the Zed? Not sure if they do a straightforward, direct replacement for the w brace, but I'm sure I've read good stuff on here about their bracing(was it one of Dan's mods?).

I'm far from a pressure washer expert, but I think your choice of foam lance will have as much, if not more, impact on your snow foaming than the choice of pressure washer. I got one of these which is great and can work with a multitude of fittings. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pa-foam-lance-cat2.html Shows comparability on the page.

Ahhhhh thats interesting, thats one of the models i was looking at!! how much did you pay for it? and hows the performance compared with the oem system? can you post a pickie of it in the car?? Here you go bud, pic of the unit installed, chavtastic background image is optional I paid £465 for the work, not sure how much of that was headunit, adapter for steering controls, fascia panel, iPhone cable and labour - but that was about a year ago now, I bet you could get the headunit on its own for about £250-£300 Performance is hard for me to say as I only had the OEM for about a fortnight before ripping it out, couldn't live with no iPhone connection for my music or lack of bluetooth. Also, shortly after I replaced the headunit I also had the amp, sub, front and rear speakers replaced. So I couldn't say how much was just down to the headunit, but for me to have done the extra work so quickly afterward I can't have been that happy with the sound (the functionality was a massive step up though, I can say that). As a general rule of thumb in audio, your system is only as good as your weakest component, so if you just did the headunit I would expect an improvement, but not massive as the bose amp, sub and speakers will still be holding you back. Also when you spend money on audio you WANT it to sound better so generally you convince yourself it does In terms of the whole setup versus OEM, I can promise you it's night and day, but the Hertz amp and speakers are a huge factor in that. Thanks buddy Great taste in music nothing wrong with a bit of stone roses (with a little RATM thrown in too!!) My first pic had Xanadu on repeat so I switched it around for the second photo.

Picked up my newly painted rays from Lepsons today
Stutopia replied to AKVai's topic in 350Z General
They looks sweet! Do 370 Rays go straight on to a 350? -
I recently ordered some stuff from the US and they had some DVD copies in stock, picked a couple up as they were cheap, one for me and one for the car. Great little promo for the Zed.

I was tempted to pop the trim off and push it out, but where it's cracked at the top I'm worried the paint will just go nuts. Then I'll be the d!ckhead instead of the POS that did the damage. I'll have look for a local dent master.
-
My old man's Zafira was parked in my usual spot last night and some tiny brained, tiny todgered tool has put a boot print in the tailgate. As you can see from the pics they've put a sizeable dent in there and paint is cracked at the top, just below the rear window. There's no CCTV nearby so that's a dead end sadly, you can only hope that karma works its way around in time and the idiots balls drop off. You reckon this could be pulled? Then a smart repair to the paint? Or find a breaker tailgate (they should be pretty common yeah?) He's not too keen on splashing out on an insurance claim or a brad new tailgate, and he'll probably keep the car until it stops running, so it doesn't need to look perfect, just be presentable and stop any rust. Open to suggestions, thanks.

Great start for a collection, looks great and you can be safe that you'll never bump into Mickey Mouse wearing a Jay M1988 watch

That's nice, very close to the submariner of my dreams.

Mine are a bit scratched up. Could I get away with hitting them with a DA to liven them up a little?
