Yeah, they always bump the prices for these things. Helpfully my mum's got a place out there with a gite on the side, so it won't put a big dent in funds. Though, if I get my way, as we've got a week between games, I'll be pushing for a trip through Monaco down to Modena for the super car factories which might change that

I'm a Barclays man too, so I just set it up with my Amex instead. Again I really cannot see the advantage of using your watch over your phone, it might save a second, or two. My life is really not so busy I cant get my phone out. Or the advantage over a contactless credit/debit/Oyster card for that matter. Especially in the example of the London Underground... I just don't "get" it either. I used apple pay on the tube last weekend, it was amazeballz. BUT I'm not a London regular, so it only saved me queuing behind 300 chinese students at the ticket machine. This scenario is obviously a very limited use case However, the oyster thing is on the right, and I wear my watch on the left, so I just used my phone and thumbprint to applepay. It worked quickly and felt futuristic. If I was a London regular I wouldn't bother with an oyster card now, the phone was dead easy to use and one less thing in my wallet and never needs topping up. However, using it on my left handed watch would be a minor exercise in contortion You can just use your contactless debit card too - I go into london all the time and just use that - no extra or less hassle than using a phone. Contactless is good, but I do find it easier to get my phone out than a contactless card as they're in my wallet, also my Amex isn't contactless and I use it the most because it has the best benefits. Obviously that's not the same for everyone though. I wouldn't suggest for a minute that it's best for everyone, but it's a very quick and easy way for me to pay. Given the absence of security on contactless cards, I would now prefer none of mine to be contactless and simply use my phone which requires my fingerprint.

Any quicker and it's more or less teleportation

I had to do some filing to make mine fit too. They've not come loose in 2 and a bit years

I already knew what did, but now I have metrics!

Thanks Stu. I'd always fancied an FN2 at some point and now is the perfect time. Won't be doing much to it really more just enjoying it as is, tidying up any bits that set my OCD off and maintaining it. You have to appreciate different cars for their different attributes. Sure I miss the Zed and especially it's power but the Civics not all bad & essentially does the same thing which is get me around. Not tempted by a Teg?

LM happens all the time, the Euros are special!

I find the Mugen Type Rs to be rather saucy. Glag you're not too disappointed after your cracking Z.

So I sat for a while and let her idle, once warm, for a good while, no lumps, just a solid 800 rpm. I took a snapshot of some fuel trim data at idle: and also some with the cruise set at 40mph Car still seems to drive fine? Any thoughts?

I'm super excited, today UEFA recieved my envelope of used fifties and gave me tickets to a group game and 1st knockout round match for Euro 2016 in sunny France Me and a mate bid for 8 groups of tickets and I won two. I'll be off next summer to see: Group F Team 2 v Group F Team 4, in Marseille Runners Up Group A v Runners Up Group C, in Saint-Eitenne (aren't they a band?) I've been a fan of Group F Team 4 since I was a lad, so I'm delighted to have won tickets Anyone else been updated today and won tickets? Zed convoy?

How do we get this removed from the internet? Can we do a petition or do the team have the skills to hack it and replace with a picture of any Porker

Well the time of doubt is over, today I found the greatest reason to have an apple watch. In a particularly tedious meeting about Agile methodologies and how they can be applied to Business Critical services, I was able to overlay the periodic heart rate mesurements from my apple watch against my activity in my Outlook calendar. By checking the meeting time and scope I can predict with a high degree of scientific accuracy which subjects make my p!ss boil. I can further extrapolate from the meeting attendees in Outlook, specifically which idiots I deal with that make my p!ss boil the most. This may be the first known measure of colleague idiocy that can be applied to a working environment

They suck. I was about to sign up last season, until I found out there was an additional charge on top for HD! In this day and age? It drives me nuts when something I want to watch is only in crap-o-vision. Maybe they could do a deal where it's only a quid to subscribe in black and white! Sky might be a wedge more, but at least they got more than one channel I wanna watch (only Sky Atlantic and a couple of he movie channels mind). With the CL moving entirely next year it looks like you basically just have to suck it up. Obvs it is all for the good of the consumer, I just haven't quite figured out how I'm better off as a consumer than before BT's hand delivered state monopoly allowed it to outbid genuine competition and become a TV station. Hopefully it'll be the next ONdigital.

Thanks TT, gives me another line of enquiry. Much appreciated.

Looks ace, love it. Shame there isn't something a bit more macho available and how come they didn't spot the typo on "litre" on the side badge???

Stunning pics and looks like a brilliant route, super jealous! There's a whole calendar's worth of entries in there

I really like that you've gone for a coded roof, one of the things that put me off the roadster was there aren't enough with either contrasting or complimentary colours, just black. Nice

A couple of weekends ago I stopped after a spirited drive (pulling fine) and when I started her again (still warm), the idle was a bit lumpy, dipping like it was about to stall and then sorting itself out. I finished the drive fine and nothing felt wrong. Last week I got a P0171 - System Too Lean Bank 1 - CEL. I left this on as I wanted it up when I was going to my usual tech. Today, I took the engine cover off and had a listen around the bay for any sounds of an air leak, nothing obvious, though obviously small ones can be hard to pin down. Next door I have a mechanic who kindly had a quick look and when he plugged in his code reader, it was also showing codes for both bank Cam Shaft Position sensors (I don't have the actual codes). I don't know why these weren't showing on my phone, but that's for another thread. He cleared the codes and CEL, but immediately upon restart both Cam Shaft Position sensors are showing on his reader, although the CEL has not returned. He cleared them again and restarted, they returned. It sat quite comfortably and stable at 800rpm idle for 10 minutes. Any thoughts would be hugely welcome. Thanks!

Potential new 370z Nismo owner Blackpool !
Stutopia replied to Liamjohnson's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
good to see another Blackpool Zedder Keep an eye on the NW Meets, we occasionally like to go out and make sure everything's working -
Maybe would've felt good though Great result OP, a blow struck for reasonableness and keeping calm under fire. I'd still do the poo thing though

Your bonnet probably looks this shape, with the two lines in the middle. This is a humpy bonnet, with a big muscle car bulge in the middle. You can probably buy both by ringing up your local Nissan dealer and asking for a price. The sexy humpy one is for a 2007 model onward, but I believe it is a direct fit onto your 2004. Do bear in mind it will need painting and some places may also suggest painting your wings and bumper so the colour match is good, but that depends on how good they are and how fussy you are about the colour match. With regard to insurance counting it as a mod, it is a genuine Nissan part, but worth calling them first to check. Saves any nasty surprises if you're worried. Personally I would just fit it and not bother, but if you want to be certain, you should call them. ZMANALEX might have a used one, maybe even in your colour if you're very lucky.

If I were you, I'd go for the humpy bonnet from the HR if you're buying new. They look fit. Seemingly it's also the best value part your can actually buy from a Nissan dealer too. Worth ringing your local for a quote.

Don't bother, it's just stray porn.
