Some new mods....reversing camera and kick plates
K370Z2 replied to sipar69's topic in I.C.E & Electronics
Got the exact same mods to mine. Done the camera myself no props got the illuminated kick plates done by the dealer when i bought the car -
I am sure that everybody who has responded to this topic (myself included) always drives at 30MPH in built up areas and no more than 70MPH on motorways because if your not its against the law illegal & dangerous & could invalidate your insurance. However i am sure window tinting is not the top of MR Plods War against crime or top of the insurance companies when your cars been stolen Twocked or in a bash. Its a mod and down to personal taste - Love yours Geoff - R much the same as mine.

As per all the above owners comments .. The 40th Edition in Quarz Black is a Limited edition all with it own unique number. My 2010 did not have a reverse camera but as per previous threads (including my own) they can be bought from Brian in the states (great bloke communication & service). I fitted my own and posted the fit on this site, apart from having to remove an alarming amount of the cars interior it was just a simple plug & play fit with Brian's Kit. The steering lock is is now on a Nissan recall list so i wouldnt imagine there would be many that haven't been done, if they haven't its a dealer fix. I have the Auto with paddle shift and love everything about the car finding driving the Auto even better than my previous 350Z manual. The exhaust note or lack of it is the only minus about the car. The improvements to the trim and dash etc make the car feel much better and whilst i have never been a fan of loud interiors the Red that comes in the Quartz is great. Look for dirty/worn driver door cards as the red suede is a bugger to keep clean.. ITS A ZED ENOUGH SAID .. !!

Glad to hear another ZED hopeful on the right road to happiness. I think everyone who owns a 350Z or a 370Z is more than happy with their cars and i always drive before i believe the stories anyway! I my 350Z bought because the way it looked then the performance & handling sent the balance transfer to the dealer immediately. If you boot any rear wheel drive car its twitchy and being a previous BMW owner the 350/370 are 100% better in a straight line or accelerating round & out of corners. My mates both owned the RX8 and said they drank oil as much as the petrol. I agree with Hollow Point - the 370Z was launched just when we were told we were all gonna be skint (if u wernt already) hence the smaller sale numbers & I don't think the 370Z has stop depreciating yet, by next year, on the budget your planning on having available your choice will be wide. I bought my 350Z in 2004 for £25,000 (i was 2nd owner @2 months old £3800 below list) when we were told we were loaded and to spend spend spend and sold it in 2010 for £9,200 a loss of £15,800 or £2,633 a year. Now being a Financial Adviser as a living, i can assure you that's financial madness. However it not .. .. cause that's only £50.63 a week or £7.21 a day - now you can tell by the breakdown i am a proper financial adviser - breaking the bigger numbers down to smaller ones to make it sound sensible & affordable ... take the financial adviser hat Off .. In reality its NOT .... cause i loved every minute of my trouble free ownership of my 350Z - never thought about how it depreciated or how much fuel i had to put in, if i had i would of bought a Micra . i am currently a 370Z owner & if it depreciates in the same way and i am as happy as i was with my 350Z ownership i dont give a L fook. So save away look forward to seeing pictures of your new car. Whether you have a 350 or a 370 .... cum on owners ....... IT A ZED .. ENUUGH SAID .. !!

Hello & Welcome .. .. -
If you have a garage or lock up, how about a Kit Car Caterham, Locost - F27 etc, great for open & exposed access to all th mechanical & running parts, most built on popular donor cars so the parts are cheap. You can pick cars up well below your budget & on resale you will certainly get your money back and any money youve spent on Mods.

Nothing worse -
O dear !! !! its all down to personal taste.

Nice Like the different types of wheels everyone is trying on the 350Z..
-
Great video - nice steady smooth calm driving - well done

Like the Silver wheels best. Black wheels, on a black car, just make them fade away in to the background.

I have a 2010 370Z Black Edition & I think it is the premium connect - Here is my problem Just been on a drive down to London for a long weekend, typed in the post code and set off down the A1/A1M with an AA route finder map as a back up. Once i got up towards the Leeds area switched on the Sat Nav to start directing me. For some reason the Sat Nav then constantly wanted me to take the next slipway off which i knew was incorrect. So i stopped at the next service station reset the Sat Nav with the service station as my new starting point & set off - almost immediately it started doing the same. On the return trip hit the Home button & started off from Ashtead, took us onto & round the M25 and off at the correct junction 21 and onto the A1M no problem, but as soon as we were on the A1M it again wanted to us to take the next slip road off. I had choosen the quickest route option on both occasions - HELP !! OFF TOPIC - the Zed was a mile munch-er and loved every minute of it and had it not of been for some over enthusiastic open road low level flying (within the speed limit ) it would of no doubt returned a better MPG

Yellow 370Z GT Edition then about a minute later a burnt Orange 350Z - sent headlight flashes to you both I was lost looking for the A19 after the diversion off A1M because of the crash & road closed
