There's big money been thrown at Formula E,

This is the best bit of news from the Apple Launch... Meanwhile the Irish rock giants U2 took the opportunity of the Apple launch to present their new album ‘Songs of Innocence’ and offer it for free to the firm’s 500 million iTunes users. Although the music industry concedes that sales of albums are in decline,it’s still a rarity for an artist to actually give away an album for free-especially one of the magnitude of U2.

Happy Birthday all. Have a good one.

Lovely Job . Welcome to The Forum.

I just caught a glimpse of him in my mirror as I was about to pull away, never expected him to just carry on and pull across in front of both me and the bus...UNBELIEVABLE..and they wonder why a few a week get killed. I saw two at the weekend riding side by side in a narrow road deliberately holding up all the cars behind them, somebody behind hooted them and they gave him the V sign. STUPID..

I know we go on about cyclists on here, but I afraid some well deserve it. Tonight I'm driving home about 8.15 and its almost dark, parked at a set of traffic lights turning right into a busy main road with a bus on my inside turning left.... Just as the lights change and I and the bus set off Lance Armstrong with NO lights overtakes me on the right and turns immediately left right across me and the bus, we both had to brake hard to stop slamming into him..!!! (Also many cars that putting on their lights when it gets dark is to much trouble for them.. ).

Lawrence Stroll will soon take over the Swiss Formula One Team Sauber. Stroll owns the Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Canada, a Ferrari dealership in Québec, and an impressive collection of cars that include two of the most expensive in the world (Ferrari P4 and a Ferrari 275 GTB/4). The fashion industry tycoon is also in the process of selling off his shares in Michael Kors, through his private equity firm Sportswear Holdings. He held a 5.7% stake in the company and with this decision, he will be left with plenty of money leftover to buy into a Formula One team. On Forbes, the 55-year-old is ranked as the 816th richest man in the world, worth $2.3 billion dollars. Bernie Ecclestone was in talks with Stroll to buy into CVC Capital, which is the private equity firm that owns Formula One. That deal did not go through. However, it seems as though this deal with Sauber is as good as done. The 'Russian rescue deal' It's been known for some time now that the team is financially unstable. Last year, what has become known as the 'Russian rescue deal' saw a trio of Russian companies form a partnership with the team. This new alliance quickly disintegrated as the Ukranian crisis escalated though, and all discussions which included putting Sergey Sirotkin in an F1 car came to a screeching halt. Sauber has struggled in 2014 thus far, failing to score any points between drivers Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutierrez.

You'll be back Matt, leaner and meaner..
