[SOLD]Akrapovic Full Evolution SS Exhaust (CARBON CERAMIC TIPS)
georgerobertfreeman replied to The G Man's topic in For Sale
Are there any videos of how this exhaust sounds, can't seem to find any? -
My inability to read through the entire thread meant that I missed your first post Very helpful, as a result I have chosen to replace the front 2 with the same as the rear.

Hopefully someone can come along and answer this question fairly straight forward. I am looking into possibly purchasing a new induction kit for the zed, however whilst looking at the standard unit there appears to be a sensor just after the air box. So my question is what happens to this sensor when I fit an aftermarket induction kit, as many that I have seen don't seem to have a mounting point for the sensor?

Not to my taste, but its not my car its yours.

Quick question regarding mixing tyres. My 2 rear tyres need replacing (plenty of life still left in the front). I was looking to upgrade over the standard factory fitted rubber, however at the moment I would only be replacing the 2 rear ones. This would mean 2 variations on the front and the back. I would look to upgrade the fronts to the same as the rear when they are due. Would people strongly recommend not running different tyres front and rear?

I was just about to PM a message through asking if these were still available. Unfortunately it looks like I was too slow. Beautiful wheels, please let me know if for some reason the sale falls through

Unfortunately I didn't think tonights episode was very good. Infact the last few series have been a bit of a let down. However, I have never missed an episode, watch them over and over again on Dave and will continue to do so.

Focus ST to 350Z

I recently picked up a black GT pre tax well within your budget also with low miles. Clutches can go around the 40k mark but some have lasted much longer. Also if you try and get one with a P3 service recently undertaken that will also save you a fair wad of cash. Corrosion on the exhaust if also common, so find one with a replacement one already fitted and your onto a winner. Good luck with the search! Where are you based? -
I thought that might be the case. Lucky for me I am bakc in Cannes for a week on Saturday. Just a shame I wont be taking the zed

So I only have a couple of decent photos that I took on my iphone, rest are still on the camera. View from Grand Stand 2 458 side by side on Monaco Streets View of Nice on way up to Route Napoleon View from Eze (also on Route Napoleon) View of Monaco

As said above, Monaco is a nightmare to drive around but has to be done. There are some incredibly tight hill starts that you will come across if you venture down some of the side streets. The number of supercars I saw driving along the Cote D'Azur was incredible. Only ever seen 1 458 in Britain on the roads and I must have seen atleast 7 when I was there for the week. Il upload some pictures from my trip tonight when I get in.

A few weeks ago I went down for the Monaco GP, we hired a car and did the route de Napoleon from Grasse up into the mountains was honestly some of the best roads I have ever seen, roads were smooth and hardly any traffic but most of all beautiful scenery. Plenty of little towns to stop off at for breaks. Would definitely recommend taking some time out to explore some of the roads there of you get the chance.

Behind me on my way home as I turned off. Are you on here / live locally? -
Wow that Bride interior has got to be one of the best interior setups I have seem and given me some inspiration for mine. I have been trying to see what options there are for a cage in a 350z, do you mind me asking what half cage you have ordered?

I spotted the green one on its side

Type R owner curious to buy 350Z

As above, the most noticeable difference is the refinement and decpetive speed. I get roughly 27MPG weekly on my 15 minute commute to work, and my route is national speed limit countries roads, so all in all it was better than I expected. Compared to hot hatches and such like, with the zed you don't have to constantly 'be on it' like you would with a small revvy hatch, the torque and the grunt is enough to travel as fast as neccesary without putting any strain on the engine. Even when your right foot is flat to the floor, it feels fast but not rapid. Only when you look down at the speedo you will realise they really do shift -
Brembo brakes are known for squeaking and not only on the 350z.As long as the brakes work i wouldnt worry

Wanted Monaco GP Tickets
georgerobertfreeman replied to georgerobertfreeman's topic in Motorsport & Track Days
Thanks for the replies. I have no problem getting tickets for the rocher however I've read lots of bad reviews; you have to get there ridiculously early just to get a decent spot and it is very crowded. I suppose that's all part and part of it though. -
Wanted Monaco GP Tickets

I feel you might be correct. Last minute holiday to Antibes falls over the GP weekend so would be a shame to miss it? Has anyone got any experience of the Rocher? Ive heard nothing but bad reviews, but plenty of tickets available. -
I know this is a very long shot but would anyone know the best place to get hold of some grand stand tickets for the race on Sunday? There doesnt seem to be any available, only the VIP tickets which are far too expensive. Any ideas?
