  1. It was an unscheduled stop at BP in my defence I normally use tesco So you could say MORE ;-) "boom boom"
  2. This was the first time I filled the Z up. Have broken the £100 mark since though.
  3. +1 Will these be available in Matt Bronze? widths and offsets?
  4. Oh my first spotted lol. Its not K1 loud but factory. Id say a good balance between the two. Its an HKS copy took a bit of modifying to fit though
  5. Been back again for Sly to fit my BC Racing coilovers. Once again fitted me in at short notice and an outstanding job. He even cut down the over length rear damper adjusters so they have that factory look. Height and alignment was exactly what i asked for to the finest detail he is a perfectionist. All at a great price too. Seriously if your local or even if your not its worth a travel. Give him a try you wont be disappointed, i assure you. SX Dave
  6. Another well done to Cougar Store for a top notch service. Mitz was as helpful as everybody says and contact was spot on. His patients is brilliant too with my maxed credit card as the missus didn't tell me her yearly travel card was on there lol. Ordered and delivered next day too. thanks.

where did you get the carbon lip cover Dave? i didnt see the details in your build thread Does it just stick on?
  8. Ill keep this fairly simple: Do exercise that interests you will be much easier to keep a regular training routine in place then. Once you are in the pattern of training after a couple of months you can experiment and try other stuff. its consistency that is the key, consistent diet and training. Then with consistency you can monitor the results and make changes for more benefit as you go. If your hit and miss you wont know what to change. brisk walking is great as keeps your heart rate at an optimum rate for rate burning and far less impact on the knees than running. If weights interest you then try and do a light full bodywork out (as for a basic routine if you choose this). As weight training will help burn fat for longer than cardio training by speeding up the metabolism. eat regularly every 2.5 - 3 hours have a small meal or snack. Try to eat around the same calorie intake everyday so it can be monitored. All sorts of apps and websites for this. food can get a bit boring, same sort of thing everyday but there are ways to spice up food and make it more interesting. Im not a fan of very low carbs, like a keto diet as mentioned above i think lower carbs but you need to keep some in there. Rabbitstew sums up the whole thing pretty but i only read back after iv typed the above lol. Good luck
  9. iv decided on coilovers because of the ability to adjust as id like the idea for 30mm but thats a lot on the Zed and could be impractical. getting on my drive could even be a challange. Lots of people rate BC Racing coilovers too, if you havent looked at these.
  10. Thanks Alex, factory tolerances are fairly wide so i'm guessing its best to setting on the more aggressive side/limit of them would be the best place to start. Do people have fast road set ups outside of factory tolerances? Given the cost of alignment surely its better to start as close a possible to the "ideal" set up. As starting further away could add more alignment attempts and costs. People must have the figures for a generic fast road set up to start from before tweaking. Or are these figures a trade secret? Thanks
  11. Hi, Wondering if you guys can help. trying to read up in advance before i lower my car. After much searching for some black and white figures as to what fast road settings should be. I'm not having much joy. I know these setting would be down to the person setting them and/or the driver but does any one have figures of a good place to start for a fast road set up? Or do people just tend to go with factory settings as there isn't much benefit over the added tire wear? I guess people will probably just say take it to someone who knows but id like to double check with people in the know here and also what the person i choose to do it recommends. Once iv decided on a coilover ill probably be after damper settings to but i haven't settled on a set up yet. Thanks in advance for the help. Dave.
  12. +1 I can't make up my mind on sizes for the grids that I want. But yours look spot on.
  13. Interested in your suspension packages, have given you a Pm for when you return to work (after a well deserved rest no doubt)
  14. im still getting it? here for example: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/65848-sub-enclosure-ordered-besteasiest-wiring-option/
  15. Thats the warning iv been getting. I dont have anti malware software only basic whats covered with my anti virus
  16. Im getting this a lot too, Hasnt happened before but now quite a few threads are saying it now.
  17. Torque, noise, looks, feel, rwd, the fact it's a Z car. I could go on....
  18. I cant get my head round why people would want a 4x4 or an estate and i am getting old too... lol The way i see it, a sports car is fun and sensible when needed. i.e when the bike rack is on which is rare compared to the fun driving without it, an estate/4x4 is sensible all the time and would spend most of the time not being used to its spacious potential. Guess its a balancing act. I'm far more impractical than practical.
  19. What skirts are they? Im liking them. bumper vent and colour combos look good too Im not a fan of how the splitter sticks out so far on the corners
  20. Bones 2 Fitted here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56306-the-last-word-re-bike-racks/page__hl__%2Bbike+%2Brack Ill be using mine this weekend hopefully for the first time
  21. There was a thread only a couple of days ago about this, iv decided on the saris bones 2. Evans Cycles are doing a discount too. I'd get you the link but I'm on my phone. There are pictures of it fitted in one of the threads too.
  22. I cant help but snigger like a naughty school kid every time the speedo reads 69 at the end.....
  23. Nice thread, with regards to your air filter I'd advise a hydro sock or bypass valve from personal experience! All be it in a cubic type R but you can be unlucky. Iv WAS lucky with some really deep standing water and then UNLUCKY with some far shallower water that resulted in hyrdolock and a cracked block and sump! Not to try and scare you but I had the same view and I got burned.
  24. potential interest here depending on saving... What about a group buy?
  25. Would anyone be able to send me a template please? Really like the look of this and i dont think "making" a template from scratch would be that easy. Or anyone close enough to Thurrock Essex i could visit to trace a template? thanks Dave
