    Camber Arms

I'm lowered 30mm and you will need rear arms and bolts to get back in factory specs. My front camber is just over 2 degrees as I didn't fit front camber arms. Lots of people lower without front arms. It's personal preference really.
  2. only problem is courier collection as im out of the house monday - friday 8-6. i can box and hide it behind my bins which would be safe. My new exhaust was left behind there plus many other parcels at xmas time. If someone wishes to organize a courier im happy to box up and do the above. Im just being lazy about dealing with a courier to be honest
  3. Id rather keep it for collection as I haven't got anything to pack it in etc. If it struggles to go in a week or so, ill look into postage. Thanks
  4. I'm getting married in Croatia next year and we have gone through a native wedding planing company. They have been a great help the arrange everything and cater EVERYTHING to your needs. Can't fault them brilliant service and not costing the earth for what you get. although it is scary paying deposits in advance to a foreign country and people you haven't met. But we are flying out next month to double check everything in advance with free accommodation. Long story short IMO use a planner it's much easier or the hotel you choose can probably arrange most of it for you.
  5. Day times 105db some evening sessions are 95db I believe. It's on the MSV website as it varies on session
  6. Cheers guys i overlooked the material stupidly. Don't want to be adding unsprung weight for the difference of a few quid.
  7. Hi, Does anyone see a problem with these spacers? All the measurement seem ok to me. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JDM-R-Pair-of-Nissan-Hubcentric-Wheel-Spacers-5x114-3-66-1-25mm-R32-R33-R34-/321040297796?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyre_Trims_Trims_ET&fits=Model%3A350+Z&hash=item4abf7e2f44 I'm wary of eBay tat but id like these spacers as the match my wheel colour better so will be less obvious. Have people bought ebay spacers before? i know the obvious option is a trader on here but colour and price is appealing. Cheers Dave
  8. D'oh forgot location. Would help with preferred collection. Based in Purfleet, Essex RM19
  9. Nice work. What Geo setting are you going to go for?
  10. Doesn't really need any introduction. Bought this and used it for a while but then fancied a true dual system. I did like the noise it made though and the fit didn't seem as bad some iv heard. Iv only given it a quick wipe over so will polish up even better given a bit of time. Would prefer collected but i can look into what it would cost to package and post. Looking for £150 believe that's around the going rate. Its hardly used and in great nick. Or I'm after a pair of 25mm spacers if someone's interested a swap with cash my way?
  11. Thanks for the help, cleared up a few worries. Drove a bit more at speed on straights and getting used to the zero toe feel think all should be ok. Was maybe a rubbish bit of road and me over reacting. Oh good on ya MR Chairman. It was a few years ago I was on there, went to a few meets and met with Mark from my neck of the woods a few times. Thanks for the help guys
  12. Thanks Docwra, makes sense too I guess if there isn't enough initial grip to benefit from the extra front camber right? It's currently just over 2 degrees from memory. I'm taking it brands later this month so hopefully it won't cause much if an issue then. Docwra are you or was you on SXOC? Name rings a bell I used to go on there years ago when I had my S14a.
  13. Mad hatter, yeah that's the one was the same group on deal. It's only foundation but was £200 all in, I think so couldn't turn it down. It's good welll presented web videos and easy to recap review etc. Only down side was a deadline on the revision material.
  14. I'm currently home studying for mine. There was a group on deal (I know sounds strange) but its with Greenwich University via a web portal. Course material is well presented and easy to understand with mock exams etc. then you just book the exam and attend.
  15. Ill see if I get used to it, if not ill add a little toe in. Not being an alignment guru I'm shocked at how a small amount of toe can make such a difference at speed, I understand the balancing of the two, it was achieving it (or possibly not) that's shocked me. Although cornering is unbelievably better. Oh makes good sense, as to scrubbing the front it slowing and the rear then thinking its slipping. Thanks for the help.
  16. Thanks Ekona, maybe it was just sliding if the abs wouldn't apply in those conditions as def wasn't braking. just didn't feel to be going quick enough for that even though it is slippery out and lack of grip around. I guessed as the slip light had come on and it juddered I figured abs correction, I guess not lol. Although when driving spiritedly it's had to get an accurate judgement for a 1 second incident I spose. Turn in is great and the slightly livelier back end is what I wanted. It's just a lot more skittish at higher speeds (more than I was expecting anyway). Maybe I just need to get used to it. But seems quite unnerving when pushing in the higher gears. Maybe I'm just being a tart lol.
  17. There was a judder for approx 1-2 seconds from the front wheel that felt like abs and it was only on one side. I assumed abs? Seeing as zero toe is just outside factory settings I wouldn't of thought it would make it feel as u settled as it does? Iv checked tyre pressures all spot on as well.
  18. Hi guys, wondering if you can shed a bit of light on a issue I'm having. I have searched but I'm on my phone and my connection is painfully slow so please excuse me if I am missing something obvious. Issue has happened twice now. While driving briskly but not enough to skid. The slip light has flashed up and the front abs has applied for a second. The car also feels rather skittish at high speed in a straight line too. It tends to move around a little above 60-70mph. It's recently been lowered 30mm on BC racing coilover with rear camber arms and bolts by Kaizer and the alignment was all spot on nothing out of the ordinary bar a fair bit of camber at the front as didn't fit front arms and zero toe all round as I found on here to be recommended. Car is running standard 18"s with standard tyre sizes, which is why I'm slightly confused. Anyway have a check list of things to check in Oder of priority or probability. Any help I greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave.
  19. I need to stop going to kaizers! My bank balance doesn't like it. Mind you it's not his rates it's the things I buy for him to fit! I need to get along to a meet too. It's F-ing stressful changing it all! Catching fairly large quick fish is a nightmare. If you want any advice or even a hand give me a shout buddy.
  20. It's just getting it so you don't syphon a load of sand up. Also the sand should be stirred up every so often as gasses can build up. Also because of the gravel containing plenty of bacteria it's a good idea to check levels after the change. I kept a load if gravel in a pair of tights to help with the bio load. Also run an extra filter for a while before the change too so extra filter media for bacteria to populate. What fish do you keep Dave? Mine are new world cichlids, clever little buggers too.
  21. I've recently changed to sand a month or so ago and re aquascaped the whole tank. I think it looks much nice but cleaning can take a little practice. It's cheaper too. Lots of people use Argos playsand it's only a couple of quid a bag compared to silica. I'm glad I made the change. Going to change my second tank to sand soon as well ;-)
  22. Looks like what iv got. Mine was from topgear on eBay though. The fit is ok but my tailpipes weren't level. One was about 1.5"s longer so cut it down to suit as it stuck out to far and looked naff. A good custom exhaust place will fit it for 100 odd quid and make the adjustments needed. It is can also very close to a brace in the middle of the car which I can knock on. But does sound an look good IMO.
