  3. Got this a few months back with the intention of using it but no longer need it, Its brand new in box Air/Fuel ratio gauge. Someone will have a use for it so rather sell it than let it sit there gathering dust £40 posted or collection from Epsom, Surrey PM me if interested Cheers Arran
  4. Can't wait for it should be a great opening race!
  5. Must be a performance specialist on Sheffield. I'd say you want to do the following since its been a while since the last Oil and filter (use silkolene pro s 5w30) Air filter (buy a panel filter, hks etc) Spark plugs (zmanalex has uprated ones) Gearbox oil (use genuine Nissan sports gearbox oil and a tube of molyslip) Diff oil (again use genuine Nissan stuff) Complete coolant flush I'd say (again Nissan premixed stuff) Brake/clutch fluid change (ate superblue would be spot on) Stick a decent fuel system cleaner in aswell (Wurth etc) May aswell finish it off with an air con bomb (kills all the bacteria in the air com system) If you supply parts a garage won't charge a great deal to do it all
  6. Got mine today Ian, fitted it straight away. Looks great! Took 5 minutes of fiddling around with it trying the get it nice and tight and even, found the sweet spot as it were. Haven't taken it for a drive yet to see if there's less noise or it stays in place which im sure it will. So far so good fella, thanks for making it for me saves me the agro
  7. A stretched tyre may have tried to mount his rim I'm not all for this stretched tyre camber stuff, I can't imagine driving around the twisties fast would be do able without smashing something etc Can't see the point myself maybe if the car was static all the time on display maybe just to look at but not on the road
  8. Theres nothing rewarding doing it by hand! The results are far far better with da or rotary, takes more than one day to it all properly NIce work mate, Azure is easily the best colour to be detailed, the colour really pops and that zaino z8 really gives it that gloss look, altough i wouldnt use it after waxing the car as the wax wont have fully cured and the z8 isnt really neded on top, z8 is an lsp on its own
  9. Lol you joker! Didn't get to watch that game, just aswell Cheers all
  10. Will be this month on HSD's How much did or if at all did your insurance go up when you declared exhaust and coilovers? Who you with?
  11. Well today is a good day after seeing my boys beat man united at the bridge i thought il carry on the blue theme for the day and clean the blue beast, cleaned and protected the interior on saturday so that was one job out the way. Snow foamed the car first, followed by washing with wool mitt and 2bm using chemical guys glossworkz shampoo, wheels and calipers cleaned with bilberry wheel cleaner and 1" detailing brush, car dried with finishkare 425 as an aid and wooly mammoth towel, exhaust tips polished with megs metal polysh then polished and sealed again with belgom alu, tyres dressed with bmw tyre dress and paintwork sealed with zaino z8. Leaving said finish Not the most exciting update ever but after all this shite weather it was due a spring clean Comments welcome as usual Arran

    Autogrip tyres

The rays are 18" with 225/45/18 and 245/45/18. Autogrip tyres are real budget jobbies, if you can't afford to spend big bucks on tyres then my suggestion would be to save up a couple months for some Falken FK452 or 453 and change all 4 at once then sell the others to recoup a little of the cost. The Falkens are a good tyre at a very good price
  14. Wouldn't get non resonated personally, I chose resonated and that's great on its own, even better with the motordyne art pipes though
  15. You reckon il be able to get rid of most of the arch gap without getting camber arms? I've heard only need them after 25-30mm so an inch really. Don't even think the stock suspension is an inch from the arch!
  16. Jordan whats the specs of your wheels/tyres and how much you got it dropped by? I've ordered my Eibach spacers 20mm front and 25mm rear, keeping the rays and ordering HSD DTs on Monday but I want to lower it a tad without having to buy camber arms etc. Yours looks quite low from the pics!
  17. I'm going for the invidia gemini yeah, Sounds lethal with art pipes when opened up
  18. I have the cobra resonated and motordyne art pipes with stock y sounds wonderful. Will be even better when I get the invidia on
  19. Not much faster really, certainly not in the real world. Testament to the Z while still modern can still mix it with much newer performance technology. An interesting race would be between a remapped 335i and a remapped 335d, the diesel version is extremely punchy while the petrol likes to hang on to the revs. Would be a close call I reckon
  20. I find the Z a nicer place to be in terms of comfort, driving position and layout but the materials in the BMW are slightly better, not a million miles away though imo trims and leather are scratched very easily in the modem bmws whereas the Z's leather doesn't seem to be quite so fragile but the plastics do seem a little easy to scratch
  21. Told you you'd love that setup Adam really is a fantastic sound. For an even better sound id suggest the motordyne art pipes like I'm now running Glad everything got fitted fine, went on mine perfectly and was really happy with the quality
  22. A standard 335i isn't much quicker than a DE Z, once remapped and few other supporting mods however and you'll breeze past an E9x M3 Boring cars though tbh, get good kicks out of it when you first get it then the novelty soon wears off. For a eventful drive it would be the Z or something similiar everytime over the BMW for me
  23. Is that easy to wrap buster? Really keep meaning to buy some wrap just to get rid of the silver inside but think il **** it up
  24. Now I've seen it, that is some properly stupid driving. That's the sort of ****wit that gets people injured or worse killed. I mean 100+ on a single carriageway, what if someone was crossing the road, it's game over for the pedestrian and that prick of a driver. Please tell me the police have seen this?
