  1. If he's been offered a big saving on getting the amount paid off i'd take it. saves him money. If he has to default the account to get this money off i wouldn't do it unless he has no choice. defaults do effect your credit rating quite badly.
  2. O and it stays on the account from the date of default not settlement.
  3. it comes off after 6 years automatically. even if it's settled in a year it'll stay there for 5 more and effect your credit rating.
  4. lol cant help you with the bigger pics. When i click on it it expands to full size. Nice looking car and sounds like the bug is starting to bite :-) Shame your insurance company don't allow mods. I'd change that when you can because i'm doubting you'll stop once you start.
  5. Cheers mate The samco hoses you got me work perfect with the rest of the bay. Just need to get the clutch stuff on now as well.
  6. The white flexable hosing i found for sale with boost junkies. Not too tricky to fit but need some more and need to figure out if i'm going to down size the pipes on the right as you look at the engine. really don't want to go stripping off all the original black piping though mainly in case i slip and cut through anything important
  7. pic from japfest, slightly better light on the cover
  8. The engine cover and battery and brake covers were hydro dipped. The surrounds and several other now white pieces i just sprayed up. Some issues with finding a properly white colour coat but its come out ok. When the sun was out i was spraying in my homemade booth lol It did the job but once the rain kicked in it made things a lot tricker. On top of this i experienced some clutch issues prior to japfest. Luckily they didn't happen while at japfest however i've not got a braided clutch line, rbf 600 fluid and a new slave cylinder that i need to get on fitting, just to be sure. Couldn't get the slave to bleed correctly prior to japfest so didnt change anything but will need to try again soon. Only issue i found was clearance, think i'm not getting the jack positioning quite right since finding somewhere to place the stands seems trickier than i thought it would be. OCD kicking in. If it was my clapped out fiesta it would be up in the air in no time :-)
  9. Ok so because of Japfest and work haven't been able to update until now. Soooooo i've managed to get most of the engine bay in place now. Still need to fit the weapon R power steering, coolant and oil cans. The power steering one is a bit tricky so may need to get some new rubber pipes to help with fitting that. Also while i've painted up the slam panel i've found it marks really easy. Having discussed it with some people my best bet would be to move the bonnet latch ever so slightly up to aid clearance at the front. Really want a nickel plated bonnet catch so maybe two birds with one stone Here' some engine bay pics, only realised when i got back from japfest that i'd not put the rubber sections back on the battery and brake surrounds lol so will need to get that done too As for Japfest i'd recommend it to all. Its a fantastic show and there's loads of inspiration there. Bank balance doesn't agree though So some pics...
  10. Go put a tarmac sportz sticker on the mini digger
  11. Yer tried that. The diameter of the pipe on the power steering tank is probably 4 or 5mm more than the stand plastic one.
  12. Jesus I didn't expect to see this post considering how fast you went through the stage 1 mate! Got to be something wrong for it to fail this early unless it is something like pedal adjustment or the flywheel?
  13. Cheers Greg - could always try that.
  14. Saw your car at japfest. I thought it was the same one from the forum I'd seen a while back. Looks great mate.
  15. Hi all :-) I'm trying to fit my weapon R power steering tank but the smaller of the two pipes at the bottom of it is a little thick for the rubber power steering pipe. I'm thinking about replacing both rubber hoses with some silicone ones instead. Does anyone know if i need a certain type of silicone hose since they will be holding power steering fluid and i don't know how this reacts with silicone hoses. Also anyone done this before and if so do you know the exact lengths and diameters i'll need. If not i'll just stop being lazy and measure it up myself. cheers Dan
  16. Now i've seen the other pics it makes sense Like it, does look smart.
  17. Didn't get to see the engine bay at japfest mate. Looks great. Like the colour as well. Stands out well
  18. Never had higher premiums for just 3 points before. Not many insurers would increase premium for that, as far as I'm aware. Annoyingly some are getting wise to the speeding awareness courses now as well so they are picking up on them, but again don't know if that actually leads to increased premium.
  19. I think I'd prefer to see you angry than i would to see you in drag again + infinity! Lol

    hfc

I love the sound difference I got with the berk hfc's and my old exhaust system. Even better with the ark system now. Yet to go through an mot with them. I'll just make sure they are nice and warm and see how it goes.
  21. Cars looking great. Was looking at a set of those coilovers so once they're fitted would be interested to see what you think of them.
  22. Seen it on the list now. No zed. Yep like I said if Humpy can't give u a lift then can tag along with me. Assuming u can put up with my amateur driving that is.
