  1. I believe the Milltek system is £898+fitting mate. Hawker
  2. Further thanks from me, fitted us a new cobra exhaust when the OEM started to blow. Not to mention various other jobs recently, services etc ! Usual speedy and pleasant service, can't recommend them enough. Cheers Hawker
  3. As above, we had the same problem with ours, uprated boot struts from SGS sorted it out, still working beautifully. Also replaced the ones on my civic as they had the same problem, also working excellently Hawker
  4. Not you as well, Ed, see you tomorrow, winter tyres are ready and waiting... Got to keep your options open might not fancy it one day. I'll see you later mate Ed Ah I know where you mean, thanks
  5. Naz whereabouts in Wigston are these guys? Cheers Hawker
  6. I spent about 8 hours on ours doing interior clean, wash, dry, clay bar, machine polish, machine wax, wheels, tyre dress and chrome, but im only doing that once a year. Every other week or so they all get a clean that takes about 1.5 hours and every few months clay bar and wax on top of that. Wheels will be getting iron X if needed when they come off for a season then sealed when they go on . The women think im mad :S Hawker
  7. Lol Mitz to the rescue as usual eh , Thanks guys
  8. Ahhh strange it didn't do it last year. Presumably this is not something that I need to worry about? Cheers Hawker
  9. Hi all, Got a bit of a vague one, the Mrs has noticed a high pitched constant squeeking noise when the car starts up in the afternoon on her way home from work. Doesn't happen in the morning or after a short while with the engine off. Seems to last a few minutes and disappears. Any ideas? Sorry its a bit vague ive not heard it myself as ive not been driving the car. Cheers Hawker
  10. Ive just got some from oponeo mate, I went for Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4s. Everywhere else was out of stock of anything premium. Hawker
  11. Got one for the same price from the Nissan Dealer....
  12. Seems expensive to me too. Paid 8.5k for ours 18 months ago and its on 05 with only 31k on the clock. Granted no mods but I know that id still pay an extra £500 for 2 years younger and half the miles, tbh I felt like Id over paid for ours at the time a little. Hawker
  13. Hi could I have a set of vanity mirror bulbs and number plate bulbs. Thanks Hawker
  14. I would say ours runs about 28 idling once warmed up and about 60 when cruising (motorway/A road) Hawker
  15. I got a set of aftermarket ones for ours from Dolphin Parking Systems. They do a lot of colours and the grey is an excellent (I cant tell any difference and neither could the guys at CS when they fitted) match to the gunmetal of our car. Obviously different colours might not match so well. But they use a grey 350z on their website to show the colour match. Works very well but is quite loud, would recommend it. Hawker
  16. TBH you should sell the car IMO, you clearly cant afford to keep running it comfortably. What happens if it throws up some sort of major bill? Dead clutch or gearbox for example. Ours needed a clutch rebuild a few months ago, the Mrs wasn't working so our income was halved at the time, these things always happen at the wrong time. Granted for us it wasn't a big deal, but would it be for you? A car isn't worth those sort of worries, you can always buy another one in the future when you can afford it properly. Just my 2c Hawker
  17. I just have to jump in and +1 this, the Zed munches up the miles very easily, ive driven 4-5 hours and gotten out feeling totally fine. Hawker
  18. Strange, I just gave them my reg number and they sorted it
  19. The Mrs nominally does about 50 miles/day but sometimes 80 depending on what her day involves. Money isn't really an issue as she gets fuel costs refunded thankfully (not that it would stop us running it). Her commute is all decent A-roads and she returns 27mpg on average, tbh she loves driving it and is always saying she misses it when shes running my Civic for some reason. Makes the drive more bearable for her. Weve not had any issues with doing the mileage in terms of other costs, just keep it maintained as is needed. The cars perfectly capable of it and it is a nice place to be. Assuming you can afford the petrol and maintenance why not. Personally when im commuting to work in it I love to play with the loud pedal , within the speed limit obviously so I inevitable end up with worse consumption. Hawker
  20. As above I would be chomping at the bit by now. Sounds like a terrible situation to be in and I feel for you, Im sure youll eventually come out on top from the sounds of the situation but hopefully they wont drag it out too much. Hawker
  21. Good price for nissan parts but I went with SGS ones, higher rated and cheaper Hawker
  22. +1 Megs endurance tyre gel and applicator - does a lovely job
  23. TBH I dont think itll fit in the machine mate, so no ive not done, if I was going to do that id use one of those vax type carpet cleaners.
