  12. I got these for when my car's in a car park: http://www.cmgdistributions.co.uk/resul ... category=1 They work quite well
  13. Keeping them diamond cut mate. Will just make sure I apply poorboys sealant on a regular basis and clean with just mild car wash stuff. Hopefully that'll keep them mint once done.
  14. My LMGT4s went off for refurb today. This is what they looked like before they went One of the back wheels in particular had quite a bit of corrosion. This is what they were like when on the car and clean!: You can just about see the corrosion on the outer lip. A very big thank you to jumping350 for lending me some wheels to put the car on whilst these went off and to Darren-b for offering to lend me his wheels. This forum has got some great people on it They've gone to Spit & Polish in Tonbridge. Looking forward to getting them back on the car next week
  15. I remember seeing a top gear piece on the new Subaru Legacy (bout 4years ago) and it was highly rated. Might just come in at the top end of your budget
  16. sunset zeds looks awesome. Good work
  17. That would be ideal. I wouldn't want to put anyone out but if someone near Croydon did have a spare set, I'd be happy to even 'hire' them for a week just for the car to be sat on
  18. It`s pretty straight forward pbomb so long as you have 4 stands & a trolley jack (preferably a low entry one) I normally do the front first, jacking from the front subframe each side & place the axle stands with a piece of carpet on under the normal jacking points then jack the rear from the diff & place the axle stands under the normal jacking ponts. Remember to loosen wheel nuts before jacking though Thanks dude. I guess the other big concern would be the car rolling once the fronts are on stands. Did you use any blocks?
  19. Hi all, I planning to get my wheels refurbed soon but need to figure how to support my zed whilst the wheels are off. I was planning to stick it on axle stands but after looking at the rear clearance, I'm not confident enough about putting them on. My 2nd idea is to stick space saver wheels all round whilst the wheels are being done. I won't be driving the car so they just need to support it. Only prob is I only have 1! Does anyone know what space savers from other cars would be the correct pcd to fit the zed? I have mates with bmws and mercs but not sure if these will go on. Or does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks in advance
