  1. Ha I can send you some free Nismo stickers lol Lol. No, I'm not giving you my address, nice try though. Fixed that for you

    What no Wheels?

    Your grass needs cutting Humpy
  3. I'm not knocking the Nismo dividers at all - I even made one for myself, but sold it as I don't have anything 'Nismo' on my car. Like most things I've done to my car, I've learnt lessons along the way. And today I've learnt about how to illuminate thing differently using LEDs. (So thanks again guys). Hopefully this little piece of knowledge will replace the banjo string knowledge I picked up last week.....
  4. Thanks but sorry, I find this comment a bit hypocritical considering you've recently been selling your own, very similar boot dividers on eBay and even feature one as your avatar. I'm not going to be producing these LED versions and have no intention of asking Halfords if they'll support me as a franchise. Mark asked me if I'd be able to make one with a Perspex Z that was illuminated. And in the same way that I have made other versions for other members, I thought I'd give it a go. Pleased with the final result, I thought I'd share some pics. I appreciate this may not be to everyone's taste, but the member I made it for likes it, and that's all that counts. Thanks guys for all your suggestions on how I could improve the illumination. IF (and that's a big 'if') I make another like this, I'll certainly give them a try. I'll get back in my box now....
  5. Wendy has a K1 (unless she's changed it in the last month), the same as me. If the OP is after an ARK or Invidia, I don't think the K1 would be on his wish list. Come to the meet on 7th June, I'm sure there'll be a variety of exhaust configurations there
  6. You're right Paddy, I was after a set, but following the results of my poll, I decided to give 'em a miss. Was a difficult decision though. I'm glad they've sold!
  7. I do know what you mean Stu and that was the original thought process really. We did initially try with a small LED numberplate light, but that just emitted a bright light from the LED. I mentioned what we really needed would ideally be a strip, a bit like a DRL. Mark disappeared into his man cave and reappeared with a couple of LED strips, "Like this?" he said. "Perfect" I think to get the glow, rather than the illumination, you'd need to use a conventional light bulb, rather than LEDs, due to the way the light is thrown out. But I'm no expert. Give me a jigsaw and some MDF and I'll have a go. Electricity, wiring and stuff and I'm lost!
  8. Use photobucket to post pics. Just copy the IMG code from the photo into your post
  9. Maybe I could make an orange one and add a flicker effect.... Hmmm, orange....
  10. Well, I've just finished the final touches to a boot divider I've made for Mopedmark and I'm so pleased with the finished item , I thought I'd share some pics, cos I know you guys like pictures I'm chuffed to bits how it worked out and it should sit nicely with the red LEDs Mark has already in his interior. The divider has a red perspex 'Z' on the front and rear, with a strip of LEDs running along the top and bottom in the middle, so is illuminated from both sides from within. Obviously when fitted, it will be wired into the car's existing loom, as having a 12v motorcycle battery roaming freely round your boot isn't the best idea (although the divider will obviously stop it entering the cabin) What d'ya think?
  11. I was gonna quote a post from you Pete from ages ago (when I had my roof done). In fact, I will.... Happy now
  12. That's fine mate. Just wait till you plug in the LEDs on your latest addition....
  13. Jeez mate. Really sorry to hear that. Gutted for you as the Zed was coming along really nicely. Sad news
  14. Just seen your for sale ad Luke - What happened to the car?
  15. Is anyone else experiencing difficulty with the forum? I'm using IE9 at home and IE11 at work and I have to change the document mode to an IE8 emulator to get the forum to work at it's best. The display at home is very wrong indeed with the headings (Home, Forum, Calendar etc) not appearing where they should and using IE11 I'm unable to paste into a thread or quote anyone's posts in response to a post. The 'View New Content' function only seems to display a few posts, rather than a lot like it used to. (I know there are settings for the display of new content (since last visit, last 24 hours, last week etc), but I haven't changed any of these. The forum seems to be acting weird. Anyone else noticed anything?
  16. Marquez was looking very closely at his pit board each time he passed. It's often said that the riders are often thinking 3 or 4 corners ahead of the one they've just done, but Marquez is 3 or 4 laps ahead of the one he's on. Definitely raised the bar. Did anyone else hear "Brad's got a hard on" in FP3? They were obviously discussing tyres, but Keith Huewen just came out with it. I couldn't stop laughing Childish, I know

    Tyre paint pen

Whoa! That's quite an impressive label!

    Tyre paint pen

I've been labelled! Not a fan of it myself. I remember painstakingly painting the 'Diablo Corsa' on my motorbike tyres in the early 90's. But I guess on the right car it could look ok.
  19. 27.04.2014 - 98012 Miles OK, so not a huge update, but an update none-the-less. I added some facelift style LED tail lights today. These have been on a bit of a journey, so have a few members to thank for geting them to me. I bought them of Keyser in Ferndown, who passed them to Buster in Bournemouth, who took them to the Ace in London, then passed them to Mopedmark, who them brought them to the West Mids, then I coolected them from his, brought them home and fitted today. Cheers guys. They look great! They work too - Bonus
