  1. Check this out.... http://www.afsi.eu/sites/default/files/ ... n_350Z.pdf
  2. And if anyone can help Kyle out with a UK 04 brochure, could you give me a nod aswell please? Now look what you've started Mickeywheelspin!! I thought I'd struck lucky last week when I popped into my local Nissan dealer and asked for the very same thing. The parts guy went out back and said he'd have a look. He returned saying "You're in luck, I've got two on the shelf". He then gave me the accessories brochure for a 350z. Dammit. Sooooo close!
  3. From how you've described the car, the honesty the current owner has given you regarding the fuel he's used and the advice you've been given here, personally, I'd buy it - before somebody else does! Don't let it be the one that got away.
  4. Thanks again all, I no longer feel so alone Will hopefully try 1 or 2 of these fixes this weekend if it's dry. Great info and very helpful. You guys rock!
  5. Me neither. I have a 14N in my plate that are 'conveniently' (ahem) spaced together to read IAN. Having the characters on 2 rows wouldn't work in my circumstance. UK FTW!
  6. Try this, should have everything you/we need viewtopic.php?f=9&t=60584 [EDIT] Dammit you beat me - My fingers were trapped in my boot!
  7. Cool, thanks for the prompt responses guys. I assumed my struts were okay, as once my boot was open, it stays open (and doesn't try to eat me) But it would appear that they're not. Right, I'm now off to search for "The 1p trick". How much does this 'trick' cost.....? I'll fetch my coat
  8. Hi All, Something that's bugging me and each time I wonder if this just affects me/my car, or is a design feature/flaw of everyone else's Zed. Can you open your boot with one hand? Cos I can't I have to depress the boot release button with one hand, whilst pulling the boot open with the other. This is a pain in the bum when carrying something, especially when it's been persisting it down with rain and you don't want to put it down. On all my other cars, once the boot has been opened and/or the button depressed, you've only needed one hand to pull the boot open. This isn't the case on my Zed Am I on my own here, or has anyone else found this?

    Airbox for 2004 Zed

Wow, thanks Bob, I wasn't expecting (or asking for) a freebie. Thanks mate If you ever have a set of wheels or exhaust or any other goodies surplus to requirements, let me know! I'll send you my address details and if you send me your PayPal address I'll send you the postage costs and some beer/petrol/mods tokens for your trouble. Thanks again mate. Very much appreciated.

    GT / Non Gt!?

Welcome to the club! Pleased you found the right car. Now, you know what's coming next, so I'll say it before someone else does... GET SOME PICS UP! And let's see her
  12. Looking sweet now mate Ever-so-slightly jealous of the Rays
  13. Looks great polished up, good work Could the noise possibly be coming from a wheel bearing?
  14. It sounds like The Management have spoken and you're keeping the Zed then The cluth pedal can be adjusted and is something that is frequently mentioned. I was gonna do mine, but as my car is my daily driver, I've now got used to it. Use the search, but here's a thread to get you started.... viewtopic.php?f=35&t=52268
  15. Yeah, I get it. I understand the difference between the weight distribution being within something the size of a wheel, or something smaller, such as a spacer, bolted to the centre of the hub. Cheers guys
  16. I've always been happy with my standard GT 18's (so much so I even bought another set from 350Ad above - cheers mate after he'd sourced his Rays), but now reading this, I think I want some Rays action too! However, at the risk of asking another dumbass question and making myself look foolish with the present company, I have another question... If the major advantage of the Rays (apart from the looks) is the weight saving over other wheels and saving any weight (even small) from the unsprung weight makes dramatic improvements (as discovered above), wouldn't adding 20 and 25mm thick blocks of metal to each corner (i.e. spacers) and the weight in the aditional length wheel bolts etc reduce the advantage of having lighter wheels? I haven't got spacers (yet ), so don't know how heavy they actually are, but I can't imagine they're feather weight?

    Airbox for 2004 Zed

Hi, I'm after an OEM airbox for a 2004 350Z GT. It's a UK car (not sure if JDM are any different)? I'm actually just after the part(s) pre air filter if anyone has any bits lying around, but fully understand I'll probably need the whole lot. Cheers, Ian
  18. Hope you persevere with it mate. With the work you've done/had done to it so far, it's a nice looking motor, rarer in red too I had to shel out a fair few quid on my last car (a TT) to get it all sorted. But once you've got over the shock of the initial outlay, you can start enjoying the car. And as a lot of the parts you've replaced are 'servicable items', it'll be a while before you need to pay out for them again. Stick with the Zed fella, once it's sorted, you'll forget the rocky start you've both had (then you can start modding it)
  19. Nice car and nice mods (you chav) I'll watch with interest any further additions as your car is the same year and colour as mine - it helps with my lack of imagination ! Keep up the good work
  20. Hello and . So your first Zed modification was actually to your fencing rather than your car!
  21. Hello and I not 28, called Chris, or from Ipswich
  22. Hi Tom and to the forum. A 350Z at 21?? Jeez, I had a Vauxhall Nova 1.4SR! The 'SR' is important!
  23. Hi Shane and to the forum from a fellow bike nut. Your car looks Hopefully see you around
