  1. Do you use a lot of oil and lubricant at night Ian? I am definitely getting back in my cupboard....
  2. I thought the Castrol Edge stuff was pretty decent and OK for an oil change aswell as a top up? At least better than their Magnatec Am I wrong again?
  3. guys, it was my, (clearly failed) attempt, at being funny. I'll get back in my cupboard.
  4. That'll be me I made a few and sold them on eBay, but the guy (a fellow forum member) that's selling them now found my guide then started making and selling his own. Bit of a sore subject for me, but what can you do? Although I did have to report him as he was initially using my pics and text! The guide you're after is here my friend: http://www.350z-uk.c...divider-how-to/ Alternatively you could express your interest in my new thread and I'll make you one http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69081-vertical-tonneau-cover-non-oem/
  5. It is indeed. Does anyone know where I can get a longer one, as the one I've got doesn't even reach my oil? Would ZMANALEX have one?
  6. I stand corrected, sorry. It would appear the longer you leave it the better. I check mine after its been sat all day in the work car park, as my drive is on a slope.
  7. Yes. Leave the car to stand for about 10 mins after the engine's been running before checking the oil, same as any car. Park it on flat ground too
  8. Very nice Ceejay. Although I did wince when I saw how close to that kerb you were, especially with those wheels!
  9. It's this one: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_251011_langId_-1_categoryId_165477 On a special offer ATM for £60.
  10. No worries. Takes a while to get the angle of the dangle right, but you've got my pics as a point of reference
  11. Needs to be a UK rear bumper to work though! Not an option if JDM
  12. I use a Halfords Hi-Level universal one. Excuse the pics, the rack was just placed on for the purpose of the photo and the straps are loose etc. Just make sure the points of contact on the boot and bumper are clean before fitting so it doesn't scratch.
  13. Ahh, if it sounds different from the outside, it might be a keeper
  14. Thanks Wasso! Thanks for posting a pic up to further highlight how incredibly filthy and corroded my nuts and bolts are! And I can definitely see a pair of nuts in that second photo I'm just glad you can't see the rest of my engine bay, cos you'd have a field day! Maybe I should've left the heat sheild as it was, and just carried the 'theme' on.....
  15. I knew someone would comment on my grubby nuts. Gonna take 'em off and clean or replace them. I debated whther to even put my pics up cos they stick out like a sore thumb don't they!? Ad, I'll be honest mate, the jury is still out on the noise. Not the difference I was hoping for as I don't drive everywhere above 4000 rpm.
  16. Hello and Good luck with your search, keep us posted.

    Wheels! Help!

Wow, that's a wheely big collection you got there...... I'll fetch me coat (for the second time today)
  18. OK, so after the epic fail of the Plastidipped wheels, I figured I'd cheer myself up and fit my popcharger that I'd successfully 'vultured' from the for sale thread. When it arrived it looked a bit worse for wear: But I sanded the corrosion off the heat shield, gave it a polish, then cleaned and recharged the filter with a K&N recharge kit. Looks alright now Next up.... WHEELS
  19. Not sure if it will help or not mate, but I currently have a JWT popcharger that isn't fitted to the car. I could trace round the heatshield, mark up where the bends are and post it to you to be used as a template? You'd really just need a sheet of aluminium and a way of cutting and bending it. Wouldn't be hard to make one really. Probably not as effective as the injen 'wrap around' one, but better than nothing.
  20. Only £250? That's a very 'good bye' I'll fetch me coat....
  21. And thank you SuperStu for driving responsibly, by slowing down whilst passing a parked bus and being alert enough not to plough down a kid that doesn't understand the meaning of stop, look listen.
  22. Hello and As DoggyRev said ,you should be able to pick one up for your budget, but will be looking at earlier, higher mileage cars. But don't let the mileage be a deciding factor. If a car has been looked after and serviced regularly, high mileage isn't a huge issue. But for sub £5k, you are at the lower end of the market. Have a read through here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56870-guide-for-new-memberspotential-buyers/ Good luck with the search.
  23. As Papa said, blue and yellow do compliment each other. Yellow hoses would look good with the yellow car, as long as the hoses (and any other yellow items under the bonnet) were fropm the same manufacturer/same shade. But of all the colours, gunmetal is the best. Fact.
